i brought my 13 year old dog to st. norbert vet because she wasn’t feeling well. they ran a bunch of tests, we found out she was diabetic and i now give her an insulin needle twice a day. i recently went to buy more insulin from the vet and they changed the units of how much we are supposed to give her, when we called they said it was a mistake on the bottle, even though there was 2 signatures on the bottle confirming.
after taking our dog in once, we had to take her back again and turns out she got worms from the vet. they try and say it’s not from their clinic but she lives in the house and she is recently blind from the insulin, so somebody is with her at all times. any of our dogs have never had fleas or worms. we then had to deworm all 4 of our dogs which costed $242. deworming pills for our 4 dogs were marked wrong for which breed they were for, our border collie had the same pill as our shih poo. we thought they would help out with the deworming pills since she got them

Their prices are really competitive (yes vet care is expensive, but it's expensive *everywhere*), and they are caring, sympathetic and attentive. They'll get you in quickly, and I definitely trust them to tell me what's actually going on with my cats. I went in last week, only to find out my cat needs surgery. I 100% trust my Vivian in their care, and will be bringing her in for surgery next week.

All staff just worry about money,they dont care about your pets.Not proffessional attitude.Never recommended.

My cat had a blood test and the results showed that her UREA aka her kidney health was almost maxed out at 19.5mmol/L (should be between 5.7-12.9) and that her TT4 aka thyroid level was 73 nmol/L (should be between 10-60).
Clearly seeing that her kidneys were already extremely high, Dr. Narinder Brar still prescribed her 2.5 Felimazole, two tablets a day for one month. After the month, my cat was clearly in pain and her second blood test showed that the pills brought her TT4 (thyroid) back to normal range at 12 nmol/L but her UREA (kidney level) to 35.9 mmol/L. Way above normal levels of between 5.7-12.9! Also, her ALT (liver levels) were previously at 87 U/L which is normal (12-130) but after the pills, it has dropped to 10 U/L. It’s amazing that she’s still alive at this point.
All this time, the vet Narinder Brar, recommended her the wrong dosage and now she’s paying for it. He tried to fix one problem by worsening and creating another.

Very friendly and caring staff and will get you in promptly if my dog is sick. Vets are excellent and knowledgeable and never tries to up sell. Excellent Service and Highly Recommended.

St Norbert vet is amazing they care about your animalas if it it their own. They are honest and extremely ethical. They do not push unnecessary treatments and respect the pet parent as well as the pet, I will not ever go anywhere else. Thank you St Norbert Vet!!!

Always so friendly and great with my dog. Never tries to "up sell" and do unnecessary tests. Prices for food and dog treats lower than my old vet clinic. Very responsive when you have an urgent need, did great dental as well. Only thing I would like is that they did abit better when doing nail trim. Nails seem very sharp and uneven cuts. Had to trim and smooth down nails after the trim at the vets. That is my one and only less than perfect and it was not a huge deal to me especially since old vet cut too deep and cut quicks on my dog. Recommend without any reservations.

I cannot say how much I appreciate the kindness, and professionalism of the St Norbert Animal Hospital staff and Dr. Brar on Sunday May 22 when my young beautiful Sassy had to be euthanized. I cannot emphasize enough how appreciative I am given the situation and since I could not be there physically and had friends bring her in how the euthanasia was handled with such compassion. Dr. Brar and the staff went above and beyond for me and Sassy in a time of need! Your kindness will never be forgotten! With sincere thanks and appreciation. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Brar and his staff.

As a recently retired veterinarian, I know a bit about veterinary hospitals and I have nothing but good things to say about this hospital. A friend 's pet required euthanasia on a Sunday when not many clinics are open. The wonderful staff went out of their way to accommodate her. They were so kind and empathetic, as was Dr. Brar. The entire visit and procedure could not have gone more smoothly. A a veterinarian, I know how stressful this procedure can be for the staff but they were all so professional but compassionate. Thank you for making a difficult time less so.

I went here to get my dog neutered and to get his hernia fixed, and the price was very reasonable compare to my original vet. They were so great with my dog and the staff are great. They were really nice and friendly!

I took my puppy Bella in to get spayed and I was very impressed with the staff. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. The surgery went well and was very affordable. They even called the next day to see how she was doing. I would definitely recommend taking your pets here.

I took my cat in to be neutered and surgery to repair his umbilical hernia. I found the staff at the clinic to be very friendly and knowledgeable and that they did their best to make sure my cat was happy after his procedure. I felt like a lot of time and care was taken and really appreciated that they called me the day following the procedure to make sure my cat was doing well. Their customer service was excellent and my cat is doing well!

All of the staff here are wonderful, polite and take the time to explain things to you. I felt like the care of my pets was their priority, and any time I have had a concern over anything, they talked me through it and made sure I understood everything. This is the only vet clinic that I have gone to that makes follow up calls to check on the welfare and comfort of my pets. I recommend them to everyone!

I brought my cat in with symptoms of diabetes - Dr. confirmed diagnosis, trained me on home insulin injection and glucose monitoring so cat didn't have to be admitted. he also provided URLs for feline diabetes resources with diet and home care info. Was able to take cat off insulin within two weeks and he's been in remission for a year and a half now.

My dog had an emergency at home and I couldn't bring her to the vet because of her size. The vet came to my house right away. The doctor was very kind and understanding. I am grateful for his prompt and gentle service. The fee was very reasonable.

Very happy with our experience. We had our 3 dogs spayed at this clinic and all recovered wonderfully. Doctors responds very quickly to answer your questions. Very friendly staff. Will recommend for sure.

Went for the free first visit and was impressed. Much cheaper than Central Vet and the Vet was so knowledgeable and saved my dogs eye. With exam (free); surgery; medications (3 of them) I paid under $400. He didn't charge for my follow up. Very nice honest people.

I went to this clinic to avail free pet exam but got impressed with the service I received. Very friendly staff. Doctor was very honest and knowledgeable. Very reasonably priced. I live in other part of the city but surely coming back. Highly recommended !!!

My dog got sick on long weekend, took him to pembina emergency and diagnosed with parvo, could not afford to keep him at emergency clinic, searched all around, amazed to find this vet that they are open on weekends. They treated my puppy well, kept him in hospital for 4 days at reasonable cost. Very happy with service they provided. Nice staff, thank you guys for saving my puppy. I would recommend this clinic to everybody who is looking for affordable and good services for their pet.

Fist thing we noticed at this clinic is that do not have any vet nurses( techs??) on staff, so if our pet is sleeping for a procedure(neuter and teeth cleaning) there is no body qualified to monitor them. That's a big risk that we are not willing to take. The saying "you get what you pay for" applies to this clinic. The facilities are new and clean. I will rather go someplace else and pay more to make sure my pet is well taken care of.

Went in for a simple nail trim, vet tried to get large down on his side by pulling his legs out from underneath him, cut nails too short--bleeding, and lots of it. Dr. said it's normal and happens all the time, never happened before anywhere else.
