Terrible front end; rigid attitude- took a feline stool sample in to honor the scheduled appointment, but the cat bolted just before we were leaving for the appointment. I explained that getting a stool sample was very difficult with this cat, and could they just run screening tests on this fresh sample and we would re-schedule the check-up - NOPE. I said we would pay for the for the screening up front - NOPE. We decided not to reschedule, and decided to call our old vet clinic in Waterdown. They said bring the sample in right away (no problem) and the rest of the exam is now scheduled for next week. That was easy, sensible and reasonable. Weird attitude at MacKay's. We'll be sticking with Watzin's vet clinic!

MacKays' Animal Hospital has been our vet for over 20 years providing excellent care for all our pets during that time. Both Dr. MacKay and Dr. McLean are knowledgeable and show great patience in explaining issues and treatment, both in crisis situations or in providing annual check-ups and preventive care and information for the health of our pets. The staff are caring, concerned and compassionate. Their practice is first class and their fees are reasonable.
