I feel like this vet doesn't care about animals or people. Overpriced, but when you ask about why the bill is so high, he provides you with discounts.....After the fact. Doesn't particularly know much about exotics though claims he does. Has to double check with Google. I'll take my animals somewhere else in the future.

My dog is dead... I took him in for a neuter. He was healthy, happy, and bouncy. They called saying they were starting, they called to say they were done with no issues, and then they called an hour later to say my dog could not move his hind quarters. He was sent to Guelph where they reviewed his case and checked him over again. As of now no one can tell me what happened or how... All I know is I had to drive my two children to Guelph at 9pm at night to say goodbye to their beloved pet. I trusted these vets to care for my dog. Trusted them to deliver answers... To care that while in their custody something happened that paralyzed my dog from the waist down. The specialist said he would never recover. He'd never live a full life even if he did survive and improve over multiple surgeries... My dog is dead because I trusted these people to do a routine procedure. I urge no one else do the same.

Very incompetent, don't waste your money. I have two cats, I found a free kitten off Kijiji and she spit up a ringworm. Made an appointment for deworming explaining how imparitive it was that she be dewormed as soon as possible. Went to the appointment, $80. Pretty good right? Follow up appointment for Booster shots booked for a month later. Go to that appointment, $190! According to the invoices, Kit didn't even get dewormed her first visit! Now my other two cats have worms and myself and my spouse had too be tested as humans can contract them too. First, ew. Second, are you kidding me?! That was why I made the appointment to begin with! So I bought Biheldon Tablets, a universal dog and cat dewormer based on weight, off ebay. $10.30 for 30 tablets and I only used 2.5 to treat 3 cats. All three were worm-free after one week. Save your money and do it yourself, it is so worth it. Now that Kitten has her basic shots, she will never be going back.

The staff is very friendly and very understanding. They genuinely care about your pet. They offer a variety treatment strategies that best suit you and your pet. They go above and beyond any other vet care we have had anywhere else.

Staff and Dr seemed to be very short, blunt, rude, condescending, conceited and superior when speaking to us about our two pets. The nurse or assistant that day seemed uninterested and like some sort of robot going through the motions, clearly giving off the vibe she did not give a****. The Dr was similar except he made it clear he did care, caring about the amount of money we were willing to spend that day. He came right out and asked point blank, then he proceeded to prescribe anything he could for both bets getting right to the amount stated within pennies. He only checked out the one pet somewhat "thoroughly" and the other he did not even look at even tho he had us lift up and down onto his evaluation table, for both pets we were asked to do this. When we asked about cheaper alternatives or other methods that area as effective or even somewhat effective he completely ignored the questions that were asked multiple times and we're clearly heard by him, he turned his back and

Spent hours calling around to get male cat fix asap and most clinics were already booked for 6 weeks. This place not only got me in the next day but had the best price, staff was so friendly, and the place was clean. They were so caring and fast. I will be a return clinic these people are amazing, my cat may not like you right now but I definitely do. Keep up the great work you guys do

A few days after they had just opened this vet clinic saved my dogs life. When I brought his in He was on deaths door and they completed an emergency surgery on him even though his odds of survival were dismal and most vets would insist he should be put down. due to the extent of his illness he had to remain at the clinic for several weeks while they nursed him back to health. they put so much time(after hours/midnight visits) and resources into him (IV bags/shots/gauze/meds ect) and didn't even charge me for all of them. They answered every question we had and took the time to explain everything to us. I was able to come in and spend time with him as much as I wanted. They cared about my dog like he was their own. He has since made a full recovery and is in perfect health. thanks to them I have many more years to spend with my pup:)

This clinic has gone downhill. The staff is terrible. They are always late on appointments, the facilities are not clean and Dr. Rupi does not seem to care about giving an accurate diagnosis of your animal rather than meeting a financial quota

After being turned down by several vet clinics after taking my pet for a medical procedure which hadn't turned out, the hamilton animal clinic was the only animal hospital willing to help without an enormous financial compensation. Although things didn't turn out so great in the end after all the damage that had taken place during the first procedure the staff and the vet did everything they could to help my Oscar turn around for the better. This is a place where the staff genuinely care about animals and its hard to find that in a business based around money. I will forever be indebted to everything they have done for me and remain grateful for the hand they reached out to me when so many turned away.
