ALl they are interested in is the money. Had a bill made up before he even looked at our cat. 2000 plus. Had to have xrays. It was an ultrasound done on his computer.Our cat was pregnant due any day, ultrasound was to make sure it was a pregnancy 4 kittens present, born the next day. Do you know how to use a stethoscope you would have heard the heart beats. Charged for giving her extra fluids cause she was dehydrated. Took her to a room 5 minutes later she's back. Obviously she did not have it fluids if done at all it was a forced manualoral intake. Gave me antibiotics when I asked if they had given her the first dose answer no. Cats already in the car.I said you go out there and and give her the dose, he did. After what he charged us he can go out and get attacked forcing the meds into her. Vet does not seem to have a love for animals. Never again

Went in for neuter and shots for my cat the vet spoke with a under tone accusing us of being stupid and when asked to speak with some respect he sits up bulge his eyes and kept saying yeah yeah "mockery" he than slaps me with over 1100.$ bill saying all is a must i told him i only want the neuter and his shots the bill came back over 900 bucks i packed up and walked out

Best vet in town with fair prices.In some cases they are little expensive but more diagnsotic. Our puppy had bunch of diseases and were sent to Specialist but we are pleased with them

WARRING!!! This guy is a complete crook first of all I went in there for limping in my dog's leg he took her in for an x-ray which I thought I was being charged for one x-ray he charged me for all four pictures he took in that room he had her in for 5 minutes sedated her then gave her back to me completely sedated I was so worried I had to keep asking if she was going to be okay he left me in that room by myself with her completely sedated for a half an hour 45 minutes ihave pictures on my phone then he also had her on pain medication because he said she was in pain for 2 weeks until I found out from another few vets I got second opinions from that she doesn't even need pain medication at all until she has surgery so this guy had my dog on pain medication for 2 weeks that she did not need and that cost me over $100 gave her back to me completely sedated I thought she was dead this appointment cost me $700 he does not care about your animal he cares about money and that is it!

I feel like this vet doesn't care about animals or people. Overpriced, but when you ask about why the bill is so high, he provides you with discounts.....After the fact. Doesn't particularly know much about exotics though claims he does. Has to double check with Google. I'll take my animals somewhere else in the future.

My dog is dead... I took him in for a neuter. He was healthy, happy, and bouncy. They called saying they were starting, they called to say they were done with no issues, and then they called an hour later to say my dog could not move his hind quarters. He was sent to Guelph where they reviewed his case and checked him over again. As of now no one can tell me what happened or how... All I know is I had to drive my two children to Guelph at 9pm at night to say goodbye to their beloved pet. I trusted these vets to care for my dog. Trusted them to deliver answers... To care that while in their custody something happened that paralyzed my dog from the waist down. The specialist said he would never recover. He'd never live a full life even if he did survive and improve over multiple surgeries... My dog is dead because I trusted these people to do a routine procedure. I urge no one else do the same.

We took our puppy for second set of vaccines and Dr Rupi explained to us everything . We like their services and recommend other people to go to Hamilton Road Hospital

Very incompetent, don't waste your money. I have two cats, I found a free kitten off Kijiji and she spit up a ringworm. Made an appointment for deworming explaining how imparitive it was that she be dewormed as soon as possible. Went to the appointment, $80. Pretty good right? Follow up appointment for Booster shots booked for a month later. Go to that appointment, $190! According to the invoices, Kit didn't even get dewormed her first visit! Now my other two cats have worms and myself and my spouse had too be tested as humans can contract them too. First, ew. Second, are you kidding me?! That was why I made the appointment to begin with! So I bought Biheldon Tablets, a universal dog and cat dewormer based on weight, off ebay. $10.30 for 30 tablets and I only used 2.5 to treat 3 cats. All three were worm-free after one week. Save your money and do it yourself, it is so worth it. Now that Kitten has her basic shots, she will never be going back.

The staff is very friendly and very understanding. They genuinely care about your pet. They offer a variety treatment strategies that best suit you and your pet. They go above and beyond any other vet care we have had anywhere else.

How about asking if u were satisfied with the vet care..or do you think the vets knew what they're doing??? My rating on this is 1..maybe you should change your questions to get some real ratings. Just my opinion..

Staff and Dr seemed to be very short, blunt, rude, condescending, conceited and superior when speaking to us about our two pets. The nurse or assistant that day seemed uninterested and like some sort of robot going through the motions, clearly giving off the vibe she did not give a****. The Dr was similar except he made it clear he did care, caring about the amount of money we were willing to spend that day. He came right out and asked point blank, then he proceeded to prescribe anything he could for both bets getting right to the amount stated within pennies. He only checked out the one pet somewhat "thoroughly" and the other he did not even look at even tho he had us lift up and down onto his evaluation table, for both pets we were asked to do this. When we asked about cheaper alternatives or other methods that area as effective or even somewhat effective he completely ignored the questions that were asked multiple times and we're clearly heard by him, he turned his back and

We are not 24 hour clinic and open during day time.Our staff is very polite and we welcome everyone to our clinic and emergencies are seen on priority during day time

I had an emergency with my dog I called and the rude girl that answered the phone told me they were "too busy" to see her. We had to drive past the clinic on our way to the emerg clinic and there was NO ONE there! My dog could have died that night. Thank god for the 24 hr animal hospital! I will not go back to Hamilton rd clinic. The vet never seems interested in my pets either. and very short with me and my husband. I never felt welcomed there.

Spent hours calling around to get male cat fix asap and most clinics were already booked for 6 weeks. This place not only got me in the next day but had the best price, staff was so friendly, and the place was clean. They were so caring and fast. I will be a return clinic these people are amazing, my cat may not like you right now but I definitely do. Keep up the great work you guys do

A few days after they had just opened this vet clinic saved my dogs life. When I brought his in He was on deaths door and they completed an emergency surgery on him even though his odds of survival were dismal and most vets would insist he should be put down. due to the extent of his illness he had to remain at the clinic for several weeks while they nursed him back to health. they put so much time(after hours/midnight visits) and resources into him (IV bags/shots/gauze/meds ect) and didn't even charge me for all of them. They answered every question we had and took the time to explain everything to us. I was able to come in and spend time with him as much as I wanted. They cared about my dog like he was their own. He has since made a full recovery and is in perfect health. thanks to them I have many more years to spend with my pup:)

I changed to this clinic last year after literally being gouged by a west end clinic-almost double the price for everything. I have found Dr. Rupi and all the staff excellent. My kitten had a paw that she would not walk on with no know cause -had X-ray etc He took her case to U of M, tried various meds, gave me his cell phone if she wasn't better, they always call the next day to check on pet after a procedure - I have never seen it dirty??? I see them caring for rescue animals...someone had abandon cat and two kittens in an apartment and they were caring for them for free..this yr I have had all dogs shots done, kitten ft issue, swollen tonsil and a tooth removal for dog...all with great care and affordable

This clinic has gone downhill. The staff is terrible. They are always late on appointments, the facilities are not clean and Dr. Rupi does not seem to care about giving an accurate diagnosis of your animal rather than meeting a financial quota

i took my dog there and he was at deaths door and they worked so hard and brought him to a point that i was able to bring him home and watch him over night and give him life saving injections every three hours at 8 am i had to have him back for fluids an all day and evening procedure at 4 pm i called to check up on him and they told me to come and get him at 6pm i am giving there cards out to everyone i know they saved my dog and worked very hard and they did not over bill me like the emergency clinic in Adelaide i would like to thank them for all they did

Fantastic staff and Vet! My dog swalloed fish hook and I took to Hamilton Road Vet .Dr Rupi did surgery and pulled out fish hook from his stomach with magnet.He gave him a new life!Thanks to Dr Rupi and Hamilton Road Staff.

After being turned down by several vet clinics after taking my pet for a medical procedure which hadn't turned out, the hamilton animal clinic was the only animal hospital willing to help without an enormous financial compensation. Although things didn't turn out so great in the end after all the damage that had taken place during the first procedure the staff and the vet did everything they could to help my Oscar turn around for the better. This is a place where the staff genuinely care about animals and its hard to find that in a business based around money. I will forever be indebted to everything they have done for me and remain grateful for the hand they reached out to me when so many turned away.
