Absolutely the best clinic I have ever been to. The staff are professional and caring. The facilities are exceptional. My dogs is very important to me. I would not take them anywhere else.

This clinic has gone downhill in the last few years. All they care about is putting through as many animals as possible. They don't want to take the time to answer my questions, and their staff doesn't seem to know anything. Guess they just care about paying off their new clinic. So unorganized. Won't go back.

There are 2 appearances on this website for Allandale Veterinary in Barrie Ontario. Same place, read both reviews. For 8 years this clinic "looked" after my Bichon's professional health needs. Due to skin allergies, they prescribed Prednizone and other steroids every summer for 4 years. Never once did they warn about the dangers of long term usage. At age 6 he developed cataracts. At age 8.5 he was diagnosed as "just getting old and overweight". 1 month later, another Vet diagnosed him with advanced Cushing's disease and we had to put him down. Thanks to "Allandale Veterinary Hospital" for all the caring and knowledgeable advice....NOT! Do not use this vet. My name is John Egden and I certify this statement as true.

I've been taking two dogs here for approximately 8 years, and wouldn't consider taking them anywhere else. Dr. Lechten is stellar - second to none!

I've been using this Vet Clinic since 1996. It is operated by Dr. Patricia Lechten, DVM, an American trained vet who has lived in Canada for many years. She has taken care of two of my dogs during this period of time and I will be back shortly with my third. The Clinic recently moved into a brand new state of the art facility which is impressive to say the least. I've found the staff to always be caring, compassionate and professional, a joy to be around and work with. I would not hesitate recommending this Vet Clinic to anyone.
