Worst vet i have ever had the displeasure of meeting. We brought our dog in twice, because our regular vet wasn’t available and the situations were slightly urgent. Both times (4 years apart) he told me my dog’s ‘prognosis wasn’t good’, and he’d be ‘surprised if she lived 6 more months’ This last time he said we should think about ‘putting her down’. But… his grim prognosis didn’t stop him from trying to sell us on a $4-5000 dental procedure. (Why would we pay $5000 on her teeth if she wasn’t going to be around by the end of the year!) Both times, we opted to get a second opinion… and they had a completely different diagnosis. Sure enough she is still here- thankfully. To say he needs to improve his bedside manner is a huge understatement: His lack of compassion is unbelievable. Honestly, he should not be working with family pets.

They contrôle the comment on google and told people if they give them good reviews they give them reward for prices . that tell everything about them . Not good . And please look at your bill sometime they charge for phone call depending what s the situation and they let you know after when the doctor already talk to you . Please shop around for pet clinic it worth it .

I have brought my dog to this clinic 3-4 times. We recently moved to the area. I completely agree with everyone who said this clinic is cold and does not care about the animals whatsoever. They don’t even take a minute to say hello to your pet to make them feel comfortable. The biggest issue I have is that every time we have gone, they took my dog in the back to perform exams or cleanings and refuse to let me be with my pet. I have NEVER seen this before in my life. Other vets let you hold and comfort your pet as they get vaccines or their ears cleaned. I am so disgusted by this place. They also have warning signs up everywhere in the clinic about feeding your dog a raw food diet! They are completely against a clean raw food diet and want you to purchase their grain filled brand. Dogs are carnivores. They just want your dog to be ill so they get more money. They also charge for follow up visits!!! Be warned!! Do not take your pet there!!!

Tried this clinic as we are new to the area. Never in my life have I been charged for an apparently mandatory $60 wellness exam every time we went there, even if we were just there a week prior. An exam that literally took 2 minutes. We will not be retuning. Ever!

I have to agree with others who commented on them being more interested in the money, than the animals. Hard to tell if there is a lack of knowledge, or just no warmth. Visited the clinic a number of times in 2017/2018, but won’t be going back.

Nice employees just disguises this MONEY GRAB!!!! Brought my cat in with an injured toe. He was examined and I was told he'd need a splint/cone/drugs. I was then asked to sign a sketchy piece of paper that committed us to paying >$500 for his treatment. I signed, under the impression that it was for the entire treatment, and it was only later that they told me that the amount didn't include anything done up to the point of me signing – so I owed more! After paying the amount on the "document", I got as far away from them as possible. My cat (and family) then suffered miserably through the splint and cone. After a week (the time recommended at Sage Creek) we took him to a different vet who cared about the animals first! He cleaned up the fungal infection on his foot caused by the unnecessary bandage, and told us that veterinarians normally do for injured animal toes what is done for human toes that are injured: nothing!

Do not use this place they are only in it for the money. They actually don;t even care about your pet. They made my cat really sick and brushed it off and didn't take responsibility for it. Horrible unprofessional. Everyone is rude and completely clueless, Not sure how this place is a licensed vet. Scary don't go.

Went for puppy shots and ended up charging us 330 dollars!! 60 dollars for just a wellness exam! During the visit turns out our puppy had an ear infection. 30 dollars just to swab his ears!! Not including having to look at the swan under a microscope... At the end of the visit they have throw in three creams, one bottle of ear drops, and a bag of dog food all without discussing the price with us. We ended up paying for it all and asked how much is next two vaccines would cost. Lady at the front desk said 47 dollars. Time for next two shots.., 130 dollars! Staff is just in for the money no concern for animals AT ALL. Staff is extremely tough with animals and seems as if they have no experience at all. I recommend never coming to this animal hospital

My dogs have been going to this clinic since they opened. We have had numerous issues with the clinic and today was the last straw. We have been charged and charged and charged and charged...... At one point we had a check up done for a ear issue (may as well do a full exam we haven't done one in a while!) . A month later charged again for a full exam when yearly shots were given!!! We were having the dogs teeth cleaned, dog gets put to sleep for that, could we have funny mole removed from his head while we were at it. They charged for another hour of anesthesia and for the removal. Was almost double the cost of the cleaning alone. This past weekend our dog was sick out of town. We took to out of town vet. Dog checks out ok. Gives us something for gastrointestinal distress and instructions to take poop and pee samples to our vet if it comes back. Took sample in today and 3 hours later am told it's illegal for them to do tests on my dogs poop with out an exam. WTF! they wanted more mone

First visit with our rescue puppy and the staff and service was terrific. Dr Thiessen was a pleasure to work with and very helpful. We highly recommend this vet and we will continue using their service. The Whartons

Brought my dog in for a grooming I had to bring my dogs med.record to show shots were up to date staff reviewed them and said there were no exp.date just when they were done 5 mths. ago I said they must be good for at least 1 year I received my pet from a rescue w/uptodated enams and all mets.The staff didnt even know they were good for a year Imcompetent staff must be a incompetent vet I had to go somewhere else and the staff there told me that the shots were good for at least 1 year afterall your not going to have dogs vact.every 3 months

Terrible service. Brought my pet in and had to have blood tests taken. No costs discussed, and the samples are sent out of province (???) So I had to also pay for shipping. Never received results until I called back twice. I was told my phone number wasn't on file. (Even though it is, and gave an additional contact number just in case.) Finally got results over the phone, and advised that my pet needed surgery. Asked for a quote...told I would be contacted later that day. That was almost a week ago. I went to a different vet in the meanwhile and have the surgery scheduled. They did an assessment for free and I had a quote in writing before I walked out the door.

This clinic is GREAT!!! They fit me in at the end of the day - no languishing another night with my sick bird!! The staff was good, the Dr. was great - very congenial and knowledgeable. It was my 1st visit to this brand new clinic and I will certainly be returning. Thank you so everyone at Sage Creek Animal Hospital!!!

The staff was great, very compassionate about my dogs wellfare. The building is new, clean and organised. And the prices were comparable to my last vet.
