Exceptional Experience at Uxbridge Veterinary Clinic (UVC)!
In August, our beloved dog Coco suffered a sprained ankle on a Friday afternoon of a long weekend. After striking out with 20 local clinics, UVC's compassionate staff saved the day, fitting Coco in promptly.
Dr. Ben's expertise is outstanding! He quickly identified critical issues our previous vet had overlooked and conducted a comprehensive exam unlike any Coco had experienced in her 9 years. Dr. Ben spent nearly an hour addressing our questions and concerns, even including my husband via phone call.
We're impressed by the staff's warmth, lack of breed bias, and genuine care. Dr. Ben crafted a personalized treatment plan on a Saturday, no less!
Tomorrow, Coco undergoes surgery to remove three mammary gland lumps and residual tissue. We've seamlessly transitioned to UVC; the 45-minute drive is well worth it!
Discovering UVC sooner would've been ideal, but we're grateful for their top-notch care. UVC has earned o

Were my vet for over a decade and I recommended them to dozens of people over the decade. The staff are all super nice except for the office manager who decided to dump me as a client over one little thing without even a chance to explain. Facilities are very clean and well-kept. They were almost always able to accommodate my emergencies or urgent appointments, until the last year before dropping me as a client. Always a pricey visit, but the surgical skills and care are truly top-knotch and worth the money. I'm truly saddened the clinic I trusted to care for over 100 dogs over the years decided they no longer need my tens of thousands in business annually and left all my dogs high and dry without batting an eye.

Amazing and supportive vets. They give you options and explain issues so you can decide what to do. Very sympathetic and understanding when it is time to put an animal to sleep. They are also very willing to refer you to specialists when needed.

Had the single worst experience ever here. I was quoted to have my recently adopted 2 year old cat spayed and have all of her shots done, I was debating going to my regular vet but this was closer and I could get there right after the surgery. The vet mumbled something about her stitches and to be careful (they looked very swollen and all over the place, but I assumed it was just from being aggravated during surgery) then he left the room and didn't come back. I went to the desk to pay and they literally charged me double. Going in for the quote I was expecting to pay 350 plus tax. Left with an over 700 bill. I panicked obviously and asked why, she said something complicated the surgery and they ran a bunch of tests (without my consent) but that the prices can vary. The vet refused to come out and explain. Not to mention, they asked when I wanted to book the appointment to have the stitches removed (another 150) after I had ensured they were dissolving. I went elsewhere.

Staff is great. Caring, punctual, responsive. Dr. Dan & Dr. Wayne are great with feline patients. Good explanations of options & choices. Easy to talk to. Punctual. Longest wait was 4 or 5 min in the past two years. Organized & good with following up with you. Prices are better than downtown T.O., but they are not the low-cost, country vet you see on TV. Patient care and good medicine seems to be their main concern. Average pricing on most things compared to other clinics just outside the edge of GTA. Food and meds priced better than other clinics I've been to. Choices for vet care in this town are limited, but I don't get the impression they are resting on their laurels.
