Click to report rating    2/20/24   1     1     1     1   My cat was in an emergency situation this week. I telephoned Nova as they advertise an emergency clinic. I was informed that they only see regular customers. I feel they are unprofessional and without compassion. If they advertise an emergency clinic then they are required to provide it. I was shocked and upset by this and will be following it up with the NS veterinary authorities I have to say that I was sickened by this, but glad I didn’t go because they must be a poor vet. Click to report rating    7/6/13   1     1     1     1   We made an appointment, stopped by the clinic to inform the vet about what a bad patient our cat is and that she would need to be sedated. Vet on duty checked her previous file and said it was know to them and not to give the cat any food/rink past 10:00 for the next day visit. Showed up the next day same vet said they had no intention of sedating her? Was also not allowed in the room with the vet. 10 minutes after taking the cat "back room" the vet came back and told me there was no way that they cold look at her. Afternoon wasted and charged for exam, phoned the next day to complain and was told on the phone to come by and they would refund the money. After arriving I was told that they would not refund the money, because our cat / appointment took up time from a possible other appointment, therefore they would have to charge me (there was no other people there at the time anyway. Owner wouldn't even talk to me, sent staff instead to tell me. RID: 43514
