Excellent and very caring veterinary clinic
The staff is 2nd to none. Caring and friendly. Their compassion when our dog died was unbelievable. We have been taking our pets here for years and have seen firsthand their attention to detail and high standards. Unreservedly recommend.

We cannot begin to say how amazed we have been with the clinic . We came in for a pre-dental cleaning exam . During the exam I was asked if there were any concerns with my dog I showed the veterinarian this funny looking lump that comes and goes and kinda of looks like a scar . She was quickly alarmed and knew exactly what it was . I had actually seen my old veterinarian 2 yrs ego about this and we were told it was likely a scar, not known we left it . Unfortunately this looking lump was a mast cell tumor!!! sje has now had surgery and doing well . The staff at this clinic have been amazing ! Their expertise , knowledge , compassion, professionalism and smiles have made this process easier . We are truly grateful for this oustanding clinic . Both our dogs are seen here and we have experienced the same care for both . We would like to express our gratitude to the staff at the Manotick Veternarian Clinic . We highly recommend this clinic .

I took my new puppy here and I was not impressed at all. I feel as though all they care about is $! It was way too expensive and I found the vet was already talking about things like extracting teeth when my dog will be getting fixed blah blah. My puppy was 10 weeks old I don't think that should be an issue . As she was speaking I just saw dollar signs everywhere . I didn't feel like she cares about my pet at all and the interaction seemed very fake. I chose this vet as it is closer to my house then the other vet I take my other dog to. But after my first appointment the long drive to my other vet is well worth it . I told them I was leaving and it was very awkward , the receptionists reaction was horrible . They really need to practice customer service as well as not charging so much and bringing up things that don't matter at this point. I would recommend finding another Cheaper vet that actually seems like they care about ur pet and not just the money they can get from ur pet

I was very pleased with this clinic. The veterinarians and staff are very caring. I have taken my dear pet Timber to the clinic for about 3 years and I got to know the staff fairly well . When I needed to see the vet. on an emergency basis they were always able to give me a same day appointment. When my cat needed alternate food they were able to advise me on this issue as well. At a point I needed to administer needles to my beloved pet they taught me how to do this as well. I highly recommend Dr. Matheson and her staff as she did everything she could to prolong my cat's life. I have gone to other clinics but I found the concern for my pet and the care she received at this clinic to be superior. Once I joined the clinic I felt secure in the knowledge that they were doing the best they could for my pet. I found their knowledge of the latest research in pet care to be on the cutting edge. I highly recommend Manotick Veterinary Clinic.

I took my dog to this clinic for many years. When my dog became very ill, they sent me to another clinic to have tests done and my vet here walked me through everything that was done to my dog, what tests I should decline and explained all the results to me in detail. My dog had to be put down, she would die a painful death within a few days anyway and my vet was very caring with my dog, my husband and me and my four children. She took such wonderful care of all seven of us. Would use this clinic again, and recommend to friends.

This vet clinic is a great clinic. I found the staff very nolagable and friendly. I would recommend this clinic to anyone. They are not the cheapest but found them not to be the most expensive either.

I am giving this low rating because I am so disappointed with the careless staff. I booked a new patient appointment 1 month ago in a very detailed telephone conversation. When I arrived with my stressed cat this morning, they had arbitrarily moved my appointment from the booked 9a.m. to 2:30p.m. without ever talking to me. They said it was not due to an emergency (or any other understandable reason). They did not know why it had happened and it sounds like they are extremely disorganized as they don't even know who exactly made the change! They appear to be understaffed and overbooked. If this disregard for patients can happen, what other mistakes are they making? Needless to say I won't be choosing them as my new vet and perhaps have had a lucky escape. I can't rate the actual medical skill or cost as I was never given a chance. They looked great on the outside and I had high hopes...but looks can definitely be deceiving!
