Dr. Shelton runs an affordable clinic that cares for the animals first. A few years ago, I called our vet at the time, and then several other clinics near by, trying to renew an expired heart worm medicine prescription for our girl. They all required an annual physical, packaged with several tests, which we weren't able to afford. A friend told me about Dr. Shelton, and sure enough, his physical was reasonably priced. Not only that. He is willing to extend the prescription without demanding an annual physical, as long as our girl has been on it continuously and he has seen her in the last year or two. He is also willing to dispense medicine without seeing her, as long as they have seen her for the same issue previously. What makes Dr. Shelton and his staff unique is that they focus on taking care of animals first and not on creating systems which make us have to agree to services that are expensive and not necessary. Thanks to their approach, we can have the best care for our girl.
