I have had many dogs and cats over the years, but Dr. Sperry is by far the worst vet I have ever encountered. She has no empathy for animals whatsoever and works out of a small cramped office with no sterile procedures at all. I have a dog with epilepsy for whom she prescribed the wrong dosage of medicine, then kept forgetting to reorder the correct pills until we were totally out. She is just a VERY bad vet, who accepts no responsibility for her mistakes. I would suggest steering clear of BOTH of the Westcliffe vets, who seem to think themselves unaccountable and elitist, and make instead the short drive into Canon City or Pueblo, towns that have actual professional veterinarians who are good at their jobs.
