Dr.Nabeel is the most wonderful vet ever.He helped me when my 16 year old cat was diagnosed with kidney disease.Another vet said he had 2 months to live and sent him home to die.Dr.Nabeel took the time to train me to give sub q fluids at home and with the meds my cat lived another 3 years.He truly goes above and beyond and cares for all animals.I can never say THANK YOU enough.He will be my vet forever.Thank you Dr.Nabeel for the most amazing 3 extra years with my precious Baylee Boy.

By far the best large animal vet EVER!. He operated on my horse who had a very large tumor on her back leg. Not even a scar!!! You couldnt tell she even had a major surgery. He put down my two elderly horses today. I never seen horses put down so quick and extremely peaceful. Hes very very reasonable in costs and is honest. Let's face it we don't want to hear bad news about our pets but vets aren't god either. Id take blunt honestly over sugar coating anyday. You want an excellent vet? This is your guy!

If there was a higher rating I would absolutely be giving it! Dr. Nabeel Al-Azawi and his staff are simply exceptional individuals. With an emergency operation needed on our 13 year old female St. Bernard, at a very late hour on a very rainy, miserable Friday evening, Dr. Nabeel and his staff performed the operation seamlessly. He and his staff saved this 200 pound dog's life. Few veterinary clinics would do what they did. In fact, I must add, Dr. Nabeel spent the night at the clinic just to make sure the dog was comfortable. You cannot ask for a better place to take your pet and I mean this from my heart. Fully recovered with no complications, our Saint Bernard is full of energy and enjoying life with our family. And that is due to the wonderful care that Dr. Nabeel and his compassionate staff gave her....

Dr. Nabeel has been our dogs vet for over 5 yrs after he drove at 3am to St Kitts to save our chihuahua in labor. Three generations later and many pets now go to Dr. Nabeel. I am sorry to those who have lost a pet, but he works hard and sometimes the outcome is grim. He is just one man. I believe he gives 100%

I came here for a cheaper surgical rate and boy did I end up paying for it in the long run. My dog needed another surgery after being butchered here. It was a really weird place and the Dr is bizarre. I was given wayyyyy too many meds afterwards some of which I had to halve and divide in tenths...in powder form. I looked like a coke dealer at my kitchen table....avoid like the plague! The surgeon who fixed my dog was flabbergasted at what had been done and I’m contemplating filing a formal complaint.

This vet has no idea what he is doing. My dog is suffered because of wrong prescription. Under the care a knowledgeable vet now, the dogs health condition is improving. I believe he is deliberately prescribing high dose of wrong medications in order to create more visits and of course more fees. They are very rude and does not give the pet gentle care at all.

Love lakeshore animal hospital best care ever would never take my animals any place else Nabeel is thr best he is great with diagnosing has great sense of humour he is honest and his prices are cheaper then anywhere i have checked.would never trust anyone but Dr.Nabeel all my animals are now healthy and pain free thanks to him ... Bear is doing much better i can not thank you enough

Dr.Neeble did not acknowledge some of the information to us. Yesterday we had to place our puppy to sleep because they were so many things that were missed. NEVER take your pet to Lakeshore Animal Hospital.Our baby wasn't that deathly sick prior to taking him there.

As the comment below states - we had our 13 year old Lab put down. I wanted to bury him on our property but the ground was still frozen, so he held him there. When I picked him up the freezer was outside and NOT PLUGGED IN. Therefore my dog wasn't frozen just cold, and smelled. Absolutely disgusting. Thank god I have my dog home and in his final resting place.

We brought our black lab to be put down after 13 years and failing health. He and his staff were very respectful to our pet and family. He fully explained the process and was helpful with questions. Very reasonably priced.

Our dog had been losing weight and we didn't know why. For 6 months this vet has seen her and changed her food 5 times ($80+ a bag), always telling us that it must be a food allergy. I hope he has made his fee up from the dog food companies now because our dog has now lost 40 pounds and we have taken her to the Fort Erie Animal Hospital. The vet there immediately identified that her pancreas wasn't working properly and she needed medication. This vet told us if we had not brought her in our dog would have starved to death in 2 weeks. Any person could tell from looking at our dog that something was very wrong, and it's a shame that we TRUSTED this vet to the point where our dog might now die from something that was entirely fixable.

Dr. Nabeel Al-Azawi and his staff are truly amazing!! They took our injured kitten without a second thought. Not only were they kind and gentle to our Conchata, they are very kind and reassuring to Pet Parents!! Thank-you so much for all of your help for our girl, we are so grateful!! I highly recommend this clinic!

I feel very fortunate to have found out about Dr. Nabeel Al-Azawe through my cousin. I love how he takes care of my pets. He takes his time to ensure that I understand every aspect of his diagnosis and treatment options. I love his KINDNESS, COMPASSION and SENSE OF HUMOUR. I always feel like I am included in my cats treatment. He takes his time to ensure that my cats are as comfortable as possible. I have and will recommend Dr. Nabeel and his staff!

I love Dr. Nabeel and his staff. I have been taking my dogs there for years. My first experience: My dog needed teeth removed and all other vets in the area (I even checked Buffalo) quoted me so much that I didn't think I could afford it. I had never heard of Dr. Nabeel til then when I asked my neighbor who he takes his dogs to. I was amazed at the KINDNESS and genuine care that Dr. Nabeel & staff had for my dog AND he charged me literally less than half of what the other vets quoted. ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF HIS KINDNESS: My dog was 12 yrs old and extremely ill. Dr. Nabeel took samples for tests and prescribed meds. Her condition declined within the next 12 hours and sadly we had to put her down. Even at such a sad time for us, Dr. Nabeel said it is not too late to cancel all the tests and get our money back (which we did). There is not enough room here to list all the acts of kindness Dr. Nabeel has done for us and our dogs.

Great vet! Retains his sense of humor despite being attacked by an aggressive pet pig (and remains willing to treat him)! He has also been treating my bunny (another uncooperative patient). I like that he is willing to listen and researches the complex issues when necessary . Definitely recommend this vet.

I recently took our sheltie to Dr. Nabeel Al-Azawi for the first time. I was a little sceptical after reading some of the reviews but decided to take her anyways and was very impressed with him and his procedure on our dog. I never doubted his professionalism. Will definitely go back and refer him to others.

Dr. Nabeel is an amazing diagnostician, and his staff is great. Affordable. Small, private practice with lots of personal attention for your animal. Also does farm calls for horses.

Great experience!
Recently we took our dog to Lakeshore Animal Hospital. We found Dr. Al-Azawi to be very professional, personable and honest. Our much loved little companion was diagnosed with fairly extensive cancer. Dr. Al-Azawi was compassionate and realistic about her prognosis. He performed surgery at a very affordable rate for the amount of work she needed. Following the surgery he called our house to check up on her and showed genuine concern. Little Nellie is doing just fine and I am very thankful to the Doc, and (Nurse) Emily, for doing such a fantastic job in saving my dog’s life. Thanks so much to both of you! My wife and I highly recommend Lakeshore Animal Hospital.

Dr. Nabeel is the only person I would trust with my animals. He cares for my rabbit who requires regular dental work, as well as my cats, dogs and horses. He is always willing to fit me in on short notice, is always polite and most importantly, he offers the best care I have ever found. I will never take my pets anywhere else.

Helped in times of need - Will be back ! I have been in and around animals ( and rougly 100 Vetrinarians ) all my life. I was shocked at the level of skill demonstated. My jaw actually dropped open at one point. Do not be surprised if the vet is not very talkatve,,, but through watching him I learned that it is because he is intently focused on your animsl's health. The Fort Erie SPCA would like to say Dr Nabeel at the Lakeshore Animal Hospital has gone above and beyond his call of duty when providing services to us. He has spayed/neutered hundreds of animals plus he has done several surgeries at a cost that we can afford. He has a heart of gold and always goes the extra mile to help us. We have never had any problems with his work.

This poor excuse for a vet spayed and removed the dew claws on our rotti/shep mix.Before handing the leash over he says"don't come after me if this dog DIES.It wont be my fault. Dixie didn't die but had a very hard time coming out of the sedation that they gave extra of because they said she wouldn't go under (atlest that's what he told us).They have no recovery room so they put her on the floor.Is that even legal? How can they get away with calling that place a hospital?Her stiches came out of her feet so we reluctantly took her back.He picks her up under her belly by the spay wound.The poor thing yelped in pain.Then he slammed 4 staples in each foot without freezing.She yelped again.We didn't go back there to get them out.Our regular vet took care of her for free.FORT ERIE ANIMAL HOSPITAL IS THE BEST. DON'T EVEN TAKE A HAMSTER TO LAKESHORE ANILMAL "HOSPITAL"!
