Vet is very nice. Facilities are horrible. No AC in 30+ degree heat, very small room to examine. It was incredibly dirty we were wading in large piles of fur when we went into the exam room and Darla couldn't even give our kitties a treat after being poked and prodded. Does absolutely no work most clinics (ie. xrays and ultrasounds) and works off referrals to other clinics. Not impressed.

Dr. Cabanas and her staff are excellent. They are kind, informative, and great with my VERY skittish and anxious dog. He dislikes all vets (except for Dr. Cabanas), and I was ready to just keep rotating vets for the rest of my dog's life-- until we tried out this vet clinic! The treatment is also very personable and with lots of attention given to my dog during out visits.

Dr.Cabanas is a wonderful vet. Her bedside manner with pets and their owners is phenomenal. Our little dog had a sick liver, we were told by other vets that it was permanently damaged however Darla graphed all her liver enzymes for 2 1/2 years, recommended a course of action and complete diet change and 4 months later our malti-poo has normal liver enzymes for the first time in 3 years. Plus an added bonus was NO MORE TEAR STAINS. To have our dog healthy and beautiful is priceless. Another added bonus is that our dog loves Darla and drags us to her office whenever we walk by, even though she has had numerous blood tests and ultrasound, she still loves going to the office. Darla just has a way with the animals, they just love her and trust her.

Great clinic and amazing doctor. Have been a long term client there. Agree with the comment below, Yumika always been great to talk with. Haven't seen her in a while.

Great clinic and great location! Convenient for people who live around the area. Dr. Cabanas deals with your pet with lots of love and care. Very informational and takes time to describe things thoroughly. The assistant Yumika is very friendly. Knowledgeable with products and serves you with a warm smile. Excellent customer service skills. Recommended for everyone!

Excellent vet in North Burnaby. Dr Darla is a very knowledgeable vet who takes the time to fully understand what is going on with your pet. Highly recommended.
