Banfield, on a whole, is the most expensive vet I have ever taken my pet to and I've owned him for more than 8 years. The prices are outrageous and in no way justifiable. They charged me $36 to express ONE anal gland!!! And nickel and dimed me for other things. He basically had an impacted gland which got infected and I paid them almost $200. I ended up getting my dog's prescriptions filled online because it made me sick to my stomach to give them another penny.
