Click to report rating    12/27/18   5     5     5     5   Everyone who works at College Park Animal Hospital have such kind hearts and you can tell they all love their jobs and our pets. I will be a client of Dr A's for as long as i own pets - i wouldn't want any of my pets to be in anyone else's hands RID: 67149
Click to report rating    5/29/18   1     2     3     4   never take your animal to this place. the vet might be friendly, but clearly does not know how to properly diagnose animals. he oversedated my cat, suggested he would need surgery and needed x ray, without propely doing any blood work, or getting the cat somewhat alert to properly assess. gave him antibiotics without knowing the problem. the cat came home, and in a few hours got even sicker, at this point he told me that the cat needed xray, and likely surgery in London, because he was "blocked". it was going to be a week stay. this is without properly checking him. he then told me to put him down and end his suffering. once we got there again, the cat voided, then the vet left, said come back for xray tomorrow, and didn't even help. I took him to a reputable vet, all tests were done, diagnosis was made. no xray needed, or hospitalization. he didn't need to be put down. so long story short, the vet at college park, has no clue how to diagnose, or properly care for animals. never again RID: 66234

Dr really showed that he cared about what was happening, and handled my cat in a way more professional manner than I had experienced before. The staff called and checked up, were willing and able to get me in during emergencies, and when things got very costly, Dr. A gave me numerous breaks on costs. Even gave me his cell number when he was on vacation incase I needed him. The staff still asks about how my cat is doing when I stop in to get food. Just overall very pleasant experience in difficult times. Recommend this clinic to anyone in need of a vet RID: 63020
Click to report rating    1/3/16   1     1     1     1   I am NOT impressed with this vet at all !! I brought my cat in to be euthanized & the so called vet THREW the needle at my cat instead of humanely inserting it & caused my poor cat to die a horrible death instead of a peaceful one. After she passed away they just dumped her in a garbage bag & walked out of the room.NEVER AGAIN will I let anyone from this place touch my animals !!! Click to report rating    6/2/15   1     3     5     2   You get what you pay for unfortunately. The vet was kind but Didn't really seem to be confident in what he was doing. And the girl at the front Christine was rude, inattentive and was on her personal phone the whole time. RID: 57247

Click to report rating    3/27/14   5     5     5     5   Just arrived from Toronto where vets rates were outrageous and the clinic there kept me on edge all the time worrying about my cat. I took the blood results from the former clinic in with me on my first visit and Dr. Azfal was not the least bit concerned with the results, in comparison to the scary stories I was told by former vets of what might happen. He took blood tests to compare and make a base line (at my request) and instead of the $400 and $700 cost that I was used to, it was only $130! So far, I am impressed. To be fair to the former vets, they did show concern and true enough, my cat was not the healthiest at the time, but the constant testing and extreme costs were taking a tole on my pets and on my health with all the worry of their well-being and my ability to pay. Click to report rating    11/23/13   5     5     5     5   Switched from Confed to College Park. Was very impressed with Christine's friendliness. The dr is nice and prices are fantastic. The dr could be hard to understand on the phone.suggestion let your receptionist answer the phone. But otherwise great place. RID: 48411
