When I brought my dog to SVS. The first thing that happened is the vet Dr. Kakas was attentive to my dog but seemed disingenuous. I had been up all night w my sick dog and dr. kakas let out a big sigh when I changed my mind about getting blood tests. Her bed side manner was inappropriate. When I left my dog there to be hospitalized I later found out that she never did or ordered blood tests like I had asked her to. Also when my dog came in with mild repository distress she brushed it off and never though it was to serious. My dog died 8 hours later. The second thing that happened was that I was never told when I called to check on my dog how seriously sick she was. I was never told that my dog had been switched from impatient care to ICU care to which had my family and I know how ill she was we would have been at her side immediately and we would have been there for her when she passed. My heart is broken and I am beyond disappointed in Seattle veterinariary specialists.
