I have been going to this clinic for over 20 years. Because we moved I did switch to another clinic that was so impersonal and $$, we drove out of the way to come back to Chapel hill vet. Always nice staff, great service and treat my kitties with care and affection. I have one problem cat, he is super scared (read terrified agressive) and at 18 lbs is a real handful. They took the necessary precautions and no staff or cat was hurt. 5 Stars for this vet clinic!

I switched to this clinic with my cocker spaniel and cannot say enough about the amazing/outstanding vets and their staff. Everyone is knowledgeable, kind, compassionate and understanding. My 11 year old cocker spaniel was recently diagnosed with a large mass(cancer) and I am confident and know we are in great hands here.I have never had a problem getting an appointment. I rave about Chapel Hill Vet Clinic to everyone and I have referred quite a few. As far as other reviews that were talking about overcharging I have never experienced that and found quite the opposite.Amazing Clinic, so happy I found you!!!

On December 21, 2017, I took my 16 year-old Ragdoll to be put to sleep and the female vet there was so nice to me and really understood my emotional state of mind and my grief. At some point, she gave me a hug. I find it traumatizing to have my first pet put to sleep. Even the girl at the counter, was compassionate. I woul return there for sure. Years ago, I dealt with a male vet who was so so cold.

i USED TO BRING MY CATS HERE MANY YEARS AGO, I RETURNED AND THEY HAD NEW STAFF, VERY MONEY HUNGRY. THEY WANTED TO CHARGE OVER $2000 TO HAVE MY CATS TEETH CLEANED. CRAZY. I WENT TO ANOTHER VET 3 YRS LATER FOR THE SAME CAT, THEY SAID SHE HAD REALLY GOOD TEETH, DIDNT EVEN DISCUSS CLEANING HER TEETH.

I have taken over 10 pets to this vet for over 20 years. In the beginning, vet and staff were fantastic, but over the years, I've been made to feel like they just want more money. Their prices are one of the most expensive in Orleans. Also feels like they need to see as many pets as they can in a day. Switching to a vet in the country where they don't charge an arm and a leg, where they don't automatically recommend a specialist at Alta Vista Animal Hospital ($$$).

This vet was great ! I brought my dog in for her first shots and check up at 1 year old. They were not judgemental, did not give me hard time in regards to my dogs breed. The vet (Dr.Waterfield I believe) explained everything and the costs and was very good with my dog. All the staff were very friendly, explained everything in regards to my dogs ear infection and did not do anything without first explaining what they would do and what it would cost. The pricing is low-average compared to other vets. I would highly recommend!

Scary and terrible experience. I went to this clinic to buy gastrointestinal food for my dog who had eaten it before. She gets periodic spouts of diarrhea when she over exerts herself and did so after playing non stop with my brother dog over the last 3 days. A previous vet recommended this food and it works for a charm. About 6 lady staff all dressed in scrubs pretty much freaked out and went from 0 to 1000 in two seconds when I explain my story and why I wanted to buy the food. They were intense beyond words and explained that I needed to bring my dog in ASAP because it was tha critical of a situation. They refused to sell me the food (that I again stress I feed my dog occationly during these fluke momentary spouts). I left feeling like a bad owner even though I treat my dog like a goddess 365 days I the year. I settled for a can of pumpkin (the natural remedy) purchased at pet value and by the afternoon my dog (who had still not put down her ball yet) started having firm stools agai

This is one of the worst vets around. I had brought in my dog who was already diagnosed with uncurable kidney issues by another vet. When I came into this place to buy my dog's food, they would not sell it to me unless they had proof my dog was ill. I contacted the vet who made the original diagnosis and they sent over the file. Well, this wasn't good enough for them, they advised me that they would need to run more tests in order for them to sell me my dog's food. The only reason I came to them in the first place was because I moved away from the vet I usually went to see. THESE PEOPLE ARE REALLY MONEY HUNGRY!!

Brought in my cat because of vomiting. The doctor (impersonal) did some blood work and said the kidneys are bad. He gave me some food for his stomach. He did not really respond to the new food so I called back. They said to bring him back and they would not say what the vet would do that he had not done the first time. I eventually went to Blackburn Animal hospital which was even worst in quality.... all he wants to do is tests. I will probably put down my pet today. So far I hate all vets...bunch of money hungry pigs.
