Click to report rating    5/10/22   2     3     2     2   Overall I liked this vet until our last visit which was drawn out over several days. Communtcation was poor and information was scarcely provided. Follow up was nearly non existent and no advice and care instructions were made clear. When I called to speak to the doctor about my concerns he got angry with me started yelling. When I asked him to calm down and stop yelling he hung up on me mid issue and basically gave us the door over the phone. The front staff and assistants have always been great. But either I caught him on a bad day or this person does not have the temperament to deal with peoples concerns and questions. RID: 70327
Click to report rating    6/8/20   1     1     1     1   DO NOT GO HERE! Took my dog into the clinic for a follow up apt after a dog attack. Went in with information from the emergency animal hospital that her puncture wounds were left open to drain and heal on their own. They were scabbed over completely. The nurse came out and assessed her situation, saw her wounds on her belly then continued to pick her up from her belly causing my dog to yelp in discomfort. After this we were invited to the room to see the vet and our dog. The vet proceeded to split open her scabbed over wound with his bare fingers and tell us the information that we had received from the previous vet was all wrong. It seemed to us he was very driven by providing us information that would make him money without the best interest of my dogs health in mind. We left and took her back to the emergency vet who confirmed that this vets practices were completely wrong. As a result of reopening the wound will now prolong the healing process and further medical attention. RID: 69301
Click to report rating    10/14/19   1     1     1     1   This vet only cares about your money. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. He has no emotions and DOES NOT care about your pet. HE HAS NO SYMPATHY FOR YOU. Back in August, I brought my dog here because he had 2 lumps growing by his jaw. The vet said that the lumps could be because of an infection in the body or it could be cancer. (He also found other lumps throughout his body). He then recommended that we do a blood test to make sure and of course, I opted to do the blood test. The blood test came back as an 'infection' so he prescribed me some medicine for my dog to help get rid of the 'infection.' He likewise mentioned that his liver was 'starting' to have issues but didn't say anything further about it. I didn't think anything about this situation because the vet was supposed to be 'right.' As time went by, my dogs' lumps began to get bigger and also started growing another one by his groin. He also wasn't able to balance himself up properly and would occasionally fall when he go RID: 68641
Click to report rating    2/13/17   5     5     5     5   As a Sphynx mom of 2 Sphynx it was very important to find a vet that understood their particular health issues and biology. After interviewing a number of vets in Vancouver, I settled on 1st avenue. Although the previous vet sold her business to Dr. Dhunna, I couldn't be happier with her replacement. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Very down to earth. The equipment is great (love the X Ray machine). It's clear they are all pet lovers. Dr. Dhunna is a very nice vet who takes his time and LISTENS. He seems to have excellent knowledge and skills. I recommend them highly! RID: 62660
Click to report rating    9/30/16   5     5     5     5   amazing vet. they save my very sick kitties life. Very kind, caring and understanding. No surprise charges or suggesting pricey, unneeded tests to be done. Will be returning here with all 3 of my cats. RID: 61719
Click to report rating    9/28/16   1     4     3     4   Facilities were clean, prices are good. Service was very bad. The vet, Dr. Vinod, is shady, rude, unprofessional, and talks more about money and his business than caring for my pet. Very disappointing experience. RID: 61705
Click to report rating    5/19/16   1     3     5     5   The vet is indifferent and not very helpful. Didn't seem to really care whether the problems were being addressed or not. Very difficult to understand because of strong accent and when politely asked to repeat, became annoyed. We will not return to this clinic. RID: 60639

9/6/15   5     5     5     5   I started bringing my cat here since my old vet was just too far away from where we lived. The Dr. and the staff seemed were caring and nice, and they took great care of my cat. My cat had gotten wounds from fighting and was bleeding severely, so I called in the evening at their closing time, and they told me to come right away. When I arrived the doctor notified me that a surgery is required, which I agreed to. Overall I was very impressed as the surgery went well and the cat was okay. I truly have the upmost trust in the doctor, and I would recommend this clinic to anyone looking for compassionate and friendly care for their pets. RID: 58306

6/20/14   4     5     4     5   Very convenient location with free parking, super clean facilities, great hours & reasonable prices. Staff have always been very friendly on the phone and in person. Dr. Kiran is a soft spoken lady but has been excellent so far in caring for our dog. RID: 52188
Click to report rating    12/25/13   5     5     5     5   This is a new clinic (I've added the site to vetratingz). It's in a great location in a neighbourhood where a vet clinic really has been needed! Facilities are clean and spacious, I always find parking (yay! - my old vet had only non rush-hour street parking), and fantastic hours. I've had to go in several times, and the vet has always been friendly and knowledgeable, and the support staff smiling and helpful. I'm so happy to find a vet nearby and with whom the experience has been absolutely positive. I'D RECOMMEND THEM, and I hope their business really does well, as they offer what we "pet parents" need.
