I can verify every negative comment on this site. I left my beautiful cat to have her mats removed. When I picked her up, she was in her carry on case still almost out. It took her from 12 noon when I dropped her off to 10pm at night to come around. When she did wake up and tried to walk her left leg gave out. She is still limping this morning. Also they had added fee to have her nails clipped, which I did not want or agree to. My cat came home freaked outright out with a limp. After sleeping all night she is still Limping. They over charge and do not care.

no treatment plan...just a $900 bill after work done.....would not bring dog out until bill paid....so paid and left...note you should consult College of BC Vets disciplinary hearings.....She is scheduled Nov 30....now its only a hearing....at this point...but this place smells...and not clean....

I will never go back to this vet! They overcharged me twice on two separate occasions. Was not given an estimate or advised of any costs until I got to counter at end. When I had phoned they told me $100. for ear cleaning and that was it. Got to counter at end and $700. Today I went for followup and ear drops and they presented me $200. bill. We weren't there more than 5 minutes. When I complained today they cut bill in half. Last time $700.! Fees are twice as much as other vets and when you complain they appear to be negotiable. Charged me for exam fee today when male vet was afraid to handle or even examine my dog. I told him my dog doesn't do well with males. He didnt even look at him or in his ear. I was given contradicting advise on several occasions. They did not even help me administer the ear drops they sold me today. The woman told me last time to be effective needed to go in ear canal. Today he dropped them on surface from 1/2 foot away and he said its good enough! All they

I think I was probably one of the first people to see Dr. Renu when she first opened her clinic years ago. She is kind and compassionate and loves all animals as if they were her own. I board my cat Handsome there whenever I go away and I always feel badly about bringing him home because everyone loves him so much. I never worry about him while I am gone because I know he is in the best of care. She also carries a full line of Prescription Pet Foods and is open early and much later than most places. She also makes HOUSE CALLS! (Who DOES that any more?) If you are looking for someone who will take the time you need to explain things to you in detail and who will speak in a soothing gentle voice to your pet while working with them (I have seen this often) then come here. You will have found your best friend's new doctor and peace in your heart...

love love love this animal hospital and all their staff..Especially Dr.Renu! She is one of the most caring doctors i have ever met and its easy to say i trust her 100% with any of my animals! Staff on the other hand are very knowledgeable and trained to the best of their abilities. Never have i had a problem at this Vet and im very shocked to read some of the comments from clients who have.. I would recommend this place to everyone!!! THANK YOU APOLLO!!

They need to be shut down! Please please if you love your animal do not bring them here. All they care about is your money and not your animal's well being. It's so sad to see a place like this still in business. When I tried to voice my concerns to the owner she just hung up on me and gave me a sob sorry about how she has to pay her bills. I can live with the fact that they scammed me over $100, but I will not tolerate mistreatment of my cat. My cat is still terrified from the experience and I've had to get another vet involved to review and reverse what they did to him. It's unacceptable behaviour and it breaks my heart that they treat animals this way.

DR. Renu sood took a 30 second look over my dog, tried to but didn't successfully complete a heart rate check. Didn't shine a lite in his eye, look at his gums, or check his ears. ALL things that should have been done no matter the case. I brought him in because he was acting almost as if he was high on speed. A big 90 pound cane corso he was high strung, bobbing his head, stand sit, stand sit, jumping from couch to couch, not responding to his name or demands, dilated pupils, panting, and refusal to eat or drink. My wife and I stressed to Renu over and over that we were worried he ingested something on his walk before he started acting funny. He had managed to sniff around an area in the trees that looked like a homeless person had stayed so I was obviously concerned when I seen syringes on the ground and then the way he was acting after was more then enough to bring him to get. A vet who sells puppy mill puppies during Christmas, euthanized heathy animals because owners request it and who uses a crappy lamp with a dim bulb in their surgery room should not be allowed to practice. Not to mention to co owner of the clinic lost his vet license for mal practice. Once your trust is built lies and the rip offs start to happen.

Dr Renu is a freaking shark! Cat always has problems after being at that stupid vet. Have to continually take him back. She continually makes money off of him because we have to continually bring him back. Go back to India!

unprofessional, hard to understand, Dr Renu has strong indian accent. horrible place, do not take your animals there!!! do not believe the prognosis of your pet....I took mine to another vet who said my dog was misdiagnosed!! I thought she was dying. dirty facilities.

Dr Renu is currently treating my dog moxie for pancreatitis and I have to say that without her and her wondearful team I'd be lost. She's kind, gentle, has an accurate knowledge and truly loves all animals. She's extremly ethical in her pricing and just wants to do the best for any furry baby that comes into her clinic. I've had two other vets and I found an angle when I found her. She has staffed her clinic with true animal lovers that are well versed and make every effort to put you and your beloved pet at ease. Dr Renu has a way of talking to her patients using body language and reading theirs. I can't say enough about what she does out of love and kindness. She says her job is her passion and you can feel that from the moment you walk into the clinic. For all your pet needs from A-Z bring them to the best and bring them to Dr Renu and her team of angles at the Apollo Animal hospital.

We had taken our cat to another Vet in Langley and were not impressed. He treated our sick cat like luggage.We were searching for a new Vet and a local Cloverdale Drugstore highly recommended Apollo Animal Hospital. When we arrived at Appollo we were impressed by the facility and were even more impressed by the friendly welcoming staff. It was obvious they really cared about our cat. When we met Dr. Renu SOOD we really felt comfortable with her easy going and friendly demeanor. She genuinely cared about our cat and she made sure that she did all the necessary tests and treatments to finally solve our cats problems. Dr.Soon kept the cat at the clinic overnight a few times to allow her to ensure he was very comfortable and treated properly. We are still treating the cat but it looks like he is well on the road to recovery. The charges for treatments and meds were very fair. We received constant updates about cats condition/treatment and we were allowed to visit. Highly recommend Apollo.

For the past 15 years we have been rescuing homeless cats and taking them to shelters. For many of those years we were not completely satisfied with the veterinary care that our own 7 cats were receiving.
Two years ago, Dr. Renu Sood (Apollo Animal Hospital) came highly recommended to us by a local cat shelter operator. Dr. Sood’s veterinary skills, her surgical skills, her bedside manner, dedication to her animal patients and well trained staff have blown us away.
We feel fortunate to have a vet that we trust completely with our pets.

i brought my cat in march 31 after calling if they could help on payment plan was told yes they reviewed my cat who was having costant bloody urine. they said yes payment plan was alright so i took her in and found she was very sick and could be numerous problems. i was told to give her some pills and bring her in on thursday april 2nd to review if the pills were working i called back on april 1st and they said bring her in when i can pay they the rest of the cash i owe which is $44. i paid $40 on march 31st when i first brought her in and told them i dont get paid until april 15th they told me that is fine. now how can they see if pills are working if i can not bring my cat in while she is on them this place is a disgrace pls dont bring your pets they do not care

Terrible, terrible, terrible! Took my dog in early morning to get spayed. Dr. Renu had a meeting so was unable to do the surgery. If it wasn't for me calling almost 8 hours later to see how my dog was doing, I would have found out that she was unable to do the surgery. No one had thought to keep us informed about my dogs progress! Took her back the next morning for surgery, which she had done, only to find when we took her home she had 5 TICKS on her!! Which also wasn't the first time. We had taken her there after our dog was rescued for a check up but couldn't trace back to that clinic at that time that the tick was from there bc she was a rescue dog. After finding 5 TICKS on her after her surgery, we now definitely know it came from there. She hasn't been allowed to go outside because she's been in heat, which leaves the ticks coming from her clinic. I was so appalled and called the clinic to inform them of the ticks, and dr.renu was completely unapologetic. Do not go here!

Anti-Consumer is the Least I could do for her.
I'm absolutely amazed with a vet I found for Madjik (who had gotten into one badass, hair ripping claw pulling drag out fights) I called 15 places checking for rates on x-ray and ER visit. I actual...ly went to wrong vet clinic thinking it was the old one. Madjik had probably 10 xrays stayed overnight medication and sedation rehydration and expert consultation. Only $194
She took a bunch just to make sure on her own dime
She was so thorough she even called in an expert on Madiks injury for 1/2 the cost just to ease my mind
She even lives above the office so Madjik was always cared for ( he even made friends with the Main Coon. I finaly found someone who cared so much about my cat and one of the only that wasn't trying to hike my bill.

On March 30, 2014 we had to put our much loved dog of 14 years to sleep. We had taken her to Dr. Renu before to be treated and had been very pleased with her treatment and the cost. We brought Missy to the clinic and had a lot of tests done to get a better idea of what was going on with her. Dr. Renu and her staff were available immediately on Saturday to ensure proper tests were done, they kept her overnight so they could observe her and help to ease her pain. On Sunday they got back to us with the results of the tests. Dr. Renu talked to us about the results and helped us to decide the best option. They encouraged us to take her home for the day to spend time with her and were available later in the evening when we returned. Dr. Renu kept us informed and helped us to say goodbye. We are so very thankful for the compassionate care provided to Missy, and the support we received in making the final decision. Having a pet is expensive but the rates were affordable.

Dr. Reny Sood and her Staff are an excellent Veterinary Service. They were Very Very Helpful and Informative, and Sensitive to my needs, when I recently had to put my Dog Companion of many years to sleep due to illness. I would recommend them for all veterinary services they provide; and I intend to use them for all services needed, now and in the future, for my new Sheltie Puppy. They were a great help to me at a very difficult time. The cost for their services was very reasonable. Please check them out if you are in need of veterinary services for your pet(Companion). Receptionists changed each time I was there with my pet. Had to wait 10-15 minutes in the lobby before anyone came out most of the time. They initially tried to upsell other services and recommended the more expensive options. If you need xrays, go elsewhere...they were poor quality and needed an expert to read them at $65-90/incidence (price charged was a lot more than the expert's listed price and was more expensive each time). Seen using a rectal thermometer on our last vist, then rinsed it in the sink & put back in plastic for next pet. Dr. Renu is very nice but, IMHO, rather new to being a pet vet...think she needs experience before dealing with serious cases. Not a lot of empathy when you are handed a bill within minutes of your pet dying.
