The doctors and staff at this hospital are very nice and friendly and I recommend them for your pet’s annual vaccinations and initial visits for illnesses. However; if your pet’s illness progresses or recurs and you are not restrained financially I highly recommend that you obtain a second opinion from another vet (this is advice I will now provide for any vet). My pet, who was also my best friend, has recently passed from cancer. She had been a patient at Yates Veterinary Hospital for 6 years and I took her here approximately 5 times since the fall of 2015 when she was suffering from recurring illness. I did not find out that she had cancer until I decided to try another vet and by then, it was too late to slow the disease and extend her life.

The facilities may be humble but I don't know where else you'd find the kind of compassion and quality care Yates provides along with such an astoundingly reasonable price. Dr. Yates got up in the middle of the night to save my dog when he had an acute case of kennel cough . . . I can't thank them enough. It would be a sad day if the clinic ever closed.

I've had several fantastic experiences with Yates including after hours emergency calls and an incident I had with an abandoned baby squirrel. I love the fact that they are open late. The staff has always been great.

This is the MOST AMAZING veterinary clinic I have ever been to. Dr. Yates is awesome and you can tell him and his staff have a true love for animals. His receptionist is a very sweet lady and I wish I remembered the name of the vet other than Dr. Yates who assisted us because she was absolutly amazing. We had once had an injured racoon and took it to Windrush (who is supposed to deal with wild life) and we were yelled at for taking her into the clinic, the the receptionist said she would "check IF a vet WANTED to come in and take a look at her." We were disgusted so we took her to Yates. They took her in immediatly, helped her, the lady vet who I don't think had handled a racoon before was phenomenal, and now the racoon is happy living in a rehabilitation centre, ALIVE. Yates helped her, and Windrudh would have just put her down. YATES VETERINARY CLINIC IS AMAZING!!!!
