Based on one lymph node test of abnormal cells, we were told our dog has cancer. Biopsy results indicated that the mass on her foot was an inflammatory response- no cancer! Dr. Kane continued to recommend chemotherapy. We decided to complete an ultrasound- no abnormalities found. Dr. Kane continued to recommend chemotherapy- stating there isn't any other reason why the lymph nodes would look abnormal. At my request (not the doctor), we asked them to test her lymph node again. Results?? NO CANCER! If it were up to Dr. Kane my dog would have been on chemotherapy drugs right away- and she didn’t even have cancer!
Unfortunately, my terrible experience doesn’t end there. When she was dropped off at the office for her ultrasound she was returned to us with her foot severely injured! There were deep gouges, skin hanging off, and blood oozing out of her foot. Yet, they acted as if nothing happened and didn’t treat her AT ALL. No attempt to treat/bandage her foot. No apologies at all!

They may seem a bit expensive but when you look at the care they give...I think its a great value. I took my German Shepherd puppy there for a limp and after him seeing 2 other vets they discovered elbow dysplasia right away. Their skilled staff is awesome with the animals and they were not put out by my middle of the night calls to see how my dog was doing. Level of care is outstanding!
