One cat that had her spayed done was given back to the foster only an hour and a half from start to surgery. The cat died two days later from complications of the spay. The other two cats that had spays done were only sutured on the skin outside, the muscle and the uterus were never sutured up at all so the organs were floating around and starting to get infection. Another vet caught this in Kelona, and had to redo both those surgeries again, or the cats would’ve went into septic shock and died. The cat with the neuter had an infection that was very deep and the vet NBC confirmed the infection was so deep he suspected dirty tools. We all know Dr. bath has a dirty clinic and doesn’t do the job properly at all. Also asked for invoicing for these surgeries and we are not provided at all but the credit card was charged fortunately. That’s her only Avenue is the charge on the credit card so I am submitting a report to the veterinary Association. RID: 70655
Click to report rating    6/18/21   1     1     1     1   I lost my furbaby at less than four years old due to Dr. Baths incompetence, in my opinion. My kitty Paco was having some trouble going to the bathroom and not eating so I brought him after hours to Dr. Bath March 14/2016. This was the worst mistake I’ve made and I still struggle with it. For the next few days they told me they treated him for a urinary blockage but that he was on an IV and they would let me know when he could come home. 4 1/2 days later they said he was better and could be picked up. We picked him up and paid the $2000 bill. When we got home I knew something wasn’t right. He was extremely lethargic and attempted to use the bathroom but couldn’t, he could barely move. His stomach was extremely swollen and they said that was from the enema they administered. When I called back to say he wasn’t doing well they reassured me that it was just the meds and to call back in the morning if he didn’t improve. I called back a few times and was written off so brought him first thi RID: 70007

4/14/20   1     1     1     3   I called to book a spay appointment. Due to covid 19 the consent forms were suppose to be sent by email. No email received, called again and told me they would do the forms in person the day off. Dropped dog off, receptionist refused to talk to my husband about what the dog was there for and told us she would call. No call, I called her and she had no idea what the dog was there for. Then told me my husband confirmed she was there for a anal gland suppression. I told her my husband would have never confirmed that. Dr bath then came on the phone and said he wouldn't charge for it, I told him not to touch my dog and we would come get her. Awful unorganized unprofessional people. Thank goodness she only had her glands done, it could of ended much worse. They then proceeded to scream covid 19 at my husband as he wouldn't leave the door of the clinic without our dog, this happening with my children watching in horror from the car. Beware!!!!      1/18/20   5     5     5     5   Best vet in the city. Have taken all my pets to this clinic and it has always been a very clean, professional, caring, understanding and compassionate vet clinic. They understand that the animals brought to see them are more than just pets but are part of the family. I always recommend to friends and family looking for a good vet to take their fur babies to. Click to report rating    9/2/19   1     1     1     1   Do not take your pets here!! He is very unprofessional and unsanitary! He wanted to give my cat medication for the wrong diagnosis! He also wanted to charge me 600 to give my cat stitches when it turns out it was just feline acne! I don’t know how he has a license he doesn’t seem to know anything and there was a cat free roaming the clinic when I had my injured and vulnerable cat there to be examined! He charged me 90$ to “examine” my cat he barely touched him and said oh yeah he needs stitches I took him to another vet and they diagnosed him with extreme feline acne I’m so glad I trusted my gut and didn’t let him touch my cat! Do not go here! RID: 68514
5/15/19   5     5     5     5   We are a street cat rescue and Ruby and Dr. Bath always understand and react to our emergency situations. We cannot say enough good about them. They are caring and our cats are in good hands. Thank you Northgate Animal Clinic. RID: 68026
4/18/19   5     5     5     5   I have to say. This is the best vet clinic in Regina. Very accommodating and caring, and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone, and I have. RID: 67926
Click to report rating    8/2/18   1     1     1     1   If you love your pets, please DO NOT TAKE THEM to this clinic. Dr Bath is extremely unprofessional which makes me wonder how he even has his license? the clinic is very badly maintained. All he cares about is how to charge you more. RID: 66578
Click to report rating    5/3/18   1     1     1     1   This clinic is, without a doubt the worst one I've ever seen. I just adopted my dog and took her there for a free visit I got from the Humane Society. Immediately on arrival there was a cat freely roaming the clinic, which looked disorganized and messy. The visit itself, was not just disappointing, it was insulting. The staff and vet both spent most of the time trying to sell specific products to me and during while the vet was looking at my dog the cat roamed in and out of the room several times. Instead of having a scale to weigh my dog specifically, they had me carry the dog, stand on a generic weight scale, then weighed me separately and estimated her weight. He also used a standard thermometer and stuck it directly into my dog's rectum without lube. Very disgusting experience. RID: 66068
9/25/17   4     4     5     5   We have been taking many of our stray an feral cats to Dr. Bath for over five years. We have had excellent service from him over the years, and he has always responded after hours and in emergency situations RID: 64727
Click to report rating    9/20/17   1     1     1     1   STAY AWAY!!! Dirty place, horrible doctor and the receptionist who has no vet training is helping with procedures. Save time and money and find another clinic!! Anywhere else but here RID: 64683
Click to report rating    9/19/17   1     1     2     1   I have never had such an awful experience at a vet before!! my 2 cats who are both 2 years old almost died after getting declawed from Dr.Bath. he lied about what he used, overcharged us and had no empathy for us or our animals. if you love your pets PLEASE do not leave them in the care of this awful establishment. RID: 64673
Click to report rating    2/25/17   1     1     1     1   Unfortunately, this place is not sanitary at all! As a former employee myself, I know first hand. This doctor is over priced and has many add-ons on top of each service! This doctor will ALWAYS talk pricing with you and He has no respect for animals once they are in his care. As my reception job there, I was assisting him with surgeries my FIRST day of work. He had told me that I would be in charge of the euthanasia while he did the procedures.I have had no experience or schooling yet for any of this. I do NOT understand how this man received any certification. He is HIGHLY unsanitary. Procedure tools were rinsed with water after each use if there was noticeable blood. He would do spay an neuter procedures without wearing any gloves. Did not care about cross contamination whatsoever. I could go on for days about this "doctor". I highly recommend that if you love your pet, then do not bring here. Very unorganized and unsanitary clinic! RID: 62820
Click to report rating    1/27/17   3     3     4     1   Be very aware of extra fees added to the bill after the procedures. RID: 62485
10/17/16   5     4     5     5   Just had a great experience at this clinic. I found the staff to be very helpful, in many ways. This is a smaller clinic (only 1 vet) but it was nice for me as the Dr is clearly able to make his own decisions. He was not pushy at all about trying to do extra tests or find extra fees when I was there. I've been to 3 visits there now. I waited awhile this morning, as there were many clients, but staff were all busy. I have waited in many vet clinics, and Dr offices...I think it would be very hard to manage appointment time in one. Probably doesn't have top of the line diagnosis tools...it's quite small. I was well pleased for my spay/vaccinations etc. Nice clean incision. RID: 61836
Click to report rating    5/30/16   5     5     5     4   Dr. Bath is an extremely caring and professional doctor. When we took our dog in after getting a splnter stuck in her throat, he was very thorough and checked for all possible causes ( we didn't know it was a splinter when we took her in). Casey recovered fully in a few days and always loves to go and see Dr. Bath! His goal is to keep everyone's' pets as healthy as possible and he gives great advice when your pet is in for a check up! I would recommend him to anyone! RID: 60733

5/21/16   2     3     1     2   I phoned Dr. Bath and told him I had a critically ill dog to bring in and when I got there they had me filling out papers instead of immediately trying to help. He had some other patients there but no other emergency to attend to. I would not recommend contacting for emergency situations. And the clinic was not open at 8 am as advertised. You can contact Dr. Bath by phone but the doors will be locked up until he gets to the clinic. RID: 60650
Click to report rating    7/7/15   5     5     5     5   Dr Bath is a fantastic doctor. I brought both my pups to him to be fixed. My one pup had actually died on the table during the procedure but Dr Bath and his wife were able to revive her using cpr. When I picked up my babies Dr Bath had told me everything that happened - he is a good man with integrity and character. I recommend him to anyone and will continue to bring my pets to him to be cared for. RID: 57653
Click to report rating    3/25/15   3     3     1     1   The vet clinic is wrought with hidden fees. Seems cheaper at first but beware. Charges a revisit fee, which other vets, in my experience, do not. The vet/owner is unreliable and his favorite line seems to be can you come back later, the animal isn't quite ready yet. Seems to take longer for pets to come out of anesthetic at his clinic. I was in the clniic once and another client walked by me, leaned over and said, don't bring your animal here. Doesn't not give one confidence their pet will be cared for in a compassionate manner. When I tried to bring something to their attention I was told I could always go to another clinic. I did just that very thing. RID: 56410
