Called for my dog's lame leg and found out they will see him only for neutering. The tone of the voice of the woman on the phone left no doubt that I was at best a bad owner and at worst a backyard breeder. I do not see how ethical it is to deny seeing an injured dog unless the owner agrees to have their dog pumped full of drugs and cut into without seeing to the injury first. My dog is not neutered because he is an apartment dog and I have read a ton of research done on it and it is healthier for him to stay intact since he is friendly and will never get out and impregnate the dogs on our building's floor that do not exist. I understand the need for spay and neuter but this is unethical and irresponsible. Low income people can read and find out whether neutering their dog is in their best interest. It is also not beyond them to keep their dog on the leash when outside. I am glad that my dog will be seeing another vet.

Upper James Hamilton....
Very incompetent and unprofessional. You call when you get there, but they rarely answer the phone, and don't check messages throughout the day (very sensible!) They booked my dogs ultrasound for the wrong day, and even called to confirm it! Didn't call when she was done, can't seem to handle billing, ignore you outside then lock the door in your face like you're a nasty child. So many mistakes, and over a week after my dogs ultrasound, I STILL have not heard a thing. I am VERY SORRY I ever took my dog there!

Most compassionate people you will ever meet. All of the staff (Katie, Laurie, Dr. Martha - ALL of them) are saints. They work with few resources in order to provide affordable care for those of low income/on social assistance. I see comments on here that are wildly inaccurate and sound like those "reviewers" are grabbing at straws to complain about anything - you know the type of people they are... want to find issues with everyone and everything. If you have any concerns at all, CALL THE CLINIC - the staff are amazing, they explain everything and how it all works. Yes, you may have to wait a little longer than some other vet clinics, but that's because these guys CARE. They want to help everyone, all of those who cannot afford care elsewhere, and they stay late almost every evening to accommodate YOU and HELP YOU. They are worth the wait!

Dr. Martha, Katie, and all the other staff were wonderful as we lost 3 furry family members within 6 months. I've never met more compassionate people. Yes, they are busy, so sometimes there is a wait, but you can't hurry kindness. Medication prices are wholesale, not retail, so that helped a lot when we had to administer pain meds.

I had a wonderfully communication with the staff. Bringing in my 14 barn cats was quite a task. I had help with filling out the information, picking out names for the furbabies and I had help with putting the cats in the van to start out trek back home. I am returning to bring more cats to be spayed and neutered.Hopefully sooner than later.. Yikes!! Spring is just around the corner!!!!

They took great care of my pet, but the pricing wasn't much different from everywhere else
