I question why anyone would suggest this veterinary hospital is anything short of excellent. They have an amazing team, amazing doctors and are very empathetic and compassionate. There is no indication they are focused on money. They are focused on our pets and their health and well being. It is a shame in this era of social media that a negative review can have such an influence. I noticed when looking back many positive reviews were removed. some because of duplication? Does this mean people cannot say good things more than once but bad things can be said over and over? Regardless, there is nothing to fear here. This hospital has been a bonus to our area for many years. And Dr McLeod is a blessing to Muskoka for all pet owners.

I started to go to H.A.H. when it was Dr. Stocks some 40 years ago. I love the new facilities. Its a very beautiful clinic and easy to go in and out of. I have had two of my senior dogs take their final visit a few years back at 15 y. 3 m. and at 17 y. 9 mo. They were caring and my girls lived long, healthy lives. Of course everyone wants to spend less money when it comes to a vet, but on the whole, its value service. I am pleased with the young women vets I have been meeting the last few years. They are compassionate, easy to talk to and true dog lovers. Whenever a city client has forgotten to get their Bordetella the staff do their best to accommodate them. They oversee the care of several of my long term guests. My clients are happy, so I am happy. Two of the vets use my cage free pet resort for their own pet care, and that tells me they want their dogs to run, play and have a social life. It speaks volumes to me that they truly love and understand dogs.

Seems to me the ratings here are just from disgruntled people that speak poorly of everyone. This hospital is excellent in all regards, especially the staff and doctors. I have been to many vets with my pets over the years and have been cottaging in muskoka for over three decades. This hospital and its people are as good as it gets. And the fees are not at all outrageous for the level of care and compassion received. They have an excellent and very informative website as well. The surgery they performed on my dog cannot be done at any other clinic I have been to. Nice to know you do not have to travel to Toronto to receive top notch care. This hospital has also won many award for the level of care and service they offer- I looked it up myself. So do not believe what these other ratings say. After all, most people who put ratings are just ranting for all the wrong reasons. And why are there two positive ratings removed? Because they said wonderful things about this hospital? Must Wonder

Young staff are very poorly trained. In fact not trained at all. Manager is phoney and has no real concern for the clients. Extremely condescending . Only care about the money. No payment plans.
