Many years ago we used this as our vet care clinic..it wasn't the best or the worst but we were new in the area and needed good care at a reasonable price. Recently we took our dog there (only because our vet had retired) for a simple exam and surgery..he is a very healthy 9 year old terrier and had the same exact surgery before and the bill totaled less than $600. Companion handed me 2 itemized lists of what they would have to do. The first one had nothing to do with his surgery and came to over $500. The other one was for the actual surgery and it read like a human itemized hospital bill, totaling an estimate of between $1575 and $1850. We were shocked and told the vet we were on a fixed income. There was no response except to tell us to see the front desk for an appt. We went away and our dog was not treated. This is a sad testament to what vet care is. We love our pet and would do anything for him but we cant pull money out of thin air.
