We have been going to this vet for 5 years and then this happened recently. I called the vet for a quote for our dog because his ear had gotten bigger. The quote i was provided was for a dog exam + vaccinations (Rabies & Bordetella) $110 + to drain our dog's ear from a Ear Hematoma ($40) for a total $150. So i made an appointment and confirmed the price twice. After the work was done on our dog, we were charged $310. The receipt says Ear Hematoma (10 mins) $102.40 + exam and vaccinations $110.60 + some other items that were added on and not requested. I tried talking to Dr. Mackenzie who gave me the quote and she would not honor her quote. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else where the vet will be honest about costs up front and not change them after you go there.
