Dr. Lekx is very thorough, knowledgable and caring. She has a very calm approach and was able to vaccinate my pup when no other vet in town could. This vet has a natural philosophy and the prices are very reasonable.

This review is being written and based on one emergency situation and one incredibly rude reception staff. After being flown to BC for an extended visit with my daughter, my purebred 3 year old, fun-loving, good natured Dalmatian snapped at my daughter twice and bit her boyfriend. We were all beside ourselves as this was totally out of character for him. After doing some research, we believe the out of character behaviour is due to FLYING!!! A friend suggested I call Debbie at Qualicum Beach Veterinary Clinic 250-752-3622. I explained the scenario and she was AMAZING. She offered Seaside as a possible lead, realizing that a conventional examination would be pointless. I am disgusted with the nonchalant call I received back from an extremely rude condescending receptionist, who accused me of trying to guilt her into an appointment!!!"We are not taking new patients. Call Qualicum Beach Vet" was her mantra.I tried to explain that it was Debbie that referred me. JUST CALL DEBBIE AT QUALICU
