The chief of staff of this Hospital prefers that large dogs be sedated prior to being examined. He has refused to treat large dogs that arrive for sick call appointments without sedation at this location and the Northeast Animal Hospital location. He is dismissive and unprofessional with owners of large dogs that have not been sedated prior to examination. Bottom line, your pets' well being is not a priority. The chief of staff has no problem turning away a sick animal.
