I love Dr. V and his staff. They are awesome with my Lily. They are very informative and thorough, also very reasonably priced.

Had a very negative experience at this clinic when I came in with my cat. My cat had an emergent urinary blockage (his third blockage, second time within last year). He was in pain and something had to be done immediately. Dr gave options of different surgical procedures but given age of my cat (almost 13) and probability of another blockage reoccurring. We made the heart wrenching decision to euthanize him. Dr was uncaring, clumsy with injection, heartless with comments and lacked the compassion we needed during this difficult time. Procedure to end his life seemed to take forever and then once he passed, we were told he would be put in a bag, put in freezer and left for pick up tomorrow! Who says that to owners who just had to put their pet down? So upsetting. I have a dog we take to this vet but after that experience I will never go back again. Nicole is wonderful there and saved our cat after his first blockage, the other two staff lack compassion and personality.

I can't reccommend this clinic enough. The staff are great, Dr. Basak is thorough and clear in his diagnosis and treatment options. There is no attempt to guilt you into extra tests or medications. He's treated several of my family's cats and dogs and we are all of the same opinion. So glad we found this clinic!

I cant believe the level of care that Dr. Basak and Erika showed my puppy on our visit. They were both very knowledgeable, very friendly and didn't push any food or additional vaccinations but rather explained what they did so I could make an informed decision. When they gave me the final bill I just couldn't believe it! $55.37 including taxes for his first shot, exam, and nail trim! I will not hesitate to recommend this clinic to my friends and family.

Very good prices. Clean and inviting hospital. Dr. Basak took very good care of my dog. He never pushes for unnecessary testing. No need to go all the way to Rockwood when there are better prices at Speedvale Pet Hospital.
