Maude Touret is human garbage ! Never forget ! Always keep that in mind. Her lust for money makes her lost for words. They do have a some good employees there but as you know an organisation is as good as it's weakest link.

I have been going to this clinic over 6 years. My dog had spinal surgerty there 5 years ago also. They were amazing. This year, (last week), I went for her annual check up, and vaccines. I waited an hour from my scheduled appointment. The vet that saw her (Dr. Germain), was so inexperienced, and not thourough at all! Her usual check ups include, teeth, ears, eyes, bum, heartrate checks. SHE DID NOT OF THAT! All she did was come in ask me what food she eats, if she has any problems, gave her the vaccines and left, $400 later, I felt nothing important was checked! I almost feel like I need to taker her elsewhere for an actual check up! The staff is great, but it seems lately this clinic is all about the $$. Dr Germain was an amature on how to check your dogs or cats, if you make an appointment try to avoid her. I thought our usual Vet would see my dog (Dr Charbonneau who was amazing in the past), but it wasn't. Don't see Dr. Germain!

Une clinique qui mettait la caisse au-dessus du patient dans l'ordre des priorités. Pour moi ça faisait du marketing au dépens des soins et du bon sens, une grosse déception.

5 stars for receptionist service, technician and facilities which are great. 24hrs.
But I felt pressured to get my dog hospitalized for the night (600$/night) for dehydration and felt everything that was suggested that it was all about $ales and not about doggy. The estimate for the nigt was about 1100$ and insisted that I should not take back my dog home, advised that human hospitalization was a lot more and that the price was reasonnable although they are 10/15% higher priced than the higher end vet clinics in town, as per vet. Said doggy might neeed 2night hospitalisation: approx1400$., vet was condescending when I tried to ask for more options that did not involve 1100$ or more. that ruined the whole experience for me. I followed my instincs that said: GO HOME IT'S 3AM, GET THE BASICS AND GET DOGGY TO ANOTHER CLINIC IN A FEW HOURS. I would not recommend unless extreme emergency, prepare for sales pressure and guilt trip if you don't shell out $$.

This vet also does exotic animals. It is a husband and wife. Dr. Maccolini was very competent and cared if my birds, not just the one I brought, we're happy and healthy. The facility is new, and well equipped. The vet bill was about the same as Birds and Exotics on Sherbrooke St. I haven't been in for cats/dogs but I do recommend to bring in your exotic pets.
