I took my 14 yr. old B/W DSH Bobtail into their clinic in Feb. for severe constipation. He stayed overnight and was given fluids, enemas, etc. I was sent home with instructions to give him Miralax on his food everyday. He has continued with problems but I have been monitoring him closely. Yesterday, after he had trouble going the last two days, I called the clinic to see if I could bring him in and asked if I could give them my debit card to be charged after the first of Oct.(in 20 days) and Nurse Ratchett coldly snapped "We don't do that". This is a VERY small town(less than 2000), and most vets do DO THAT, especially in an emergency. I can understand not doing it for everything. I could not believe it. This tells me one thing: This clinic is NOT there for the animals. What if you had an animal that got hit by a car? Yeah, it looks like they would just leave it to suffer. I would find a place with a little more compassion.
