10/6/19   5     5     5     5   Affordable vet which is so rare these days. Dr pacia is honest. A lot of vets i find charge so much for things we do not really need. I mean how are we suppose to keep rescue cats when each vet bill is like a thousand bucks? Her clinic prices are reasonable. RID: 68612
Click to report rating    7/30/19   5     5     5     5   Dr. Pacia is amazing and helped my dog Diesel from multiple skin infections and neutered him and he’s a 180 pound bull mastiff. Also had helped me with my female mastiff through a leg injury. She’s by far the most empathetic vet I’ve met and I know the tests sometimes cost money but her work is terrific and I highly recommend her. RID: 68412
Click to report rating    4/12/19   1     4     3     1   Overpriced for the sub-par service. Staff (including the vet) are annoying loud which does not make for a relaxing atmosphere. Vet seemed to rush through the appointment and the exam was not very thorough. RID: 67901

2/1/19   5     5     5     5   Ok so this is one of my first posts. EVER! I don't post. Good or bad. I am amazed at what I have read in the previous posts about this place and the staff. I have been coming here for years. With my dog and my horrible cat. Lol. I sometimes wonder if other clinics just put up bad posts to deter people. The doctor I dealt with here for approx 3 years after I moved to the area and found this place was amazing. Professional and very empathetic. It was an emergency and I would say they saved my boys life. Yes I had to pay. I had to have x rays and a bunch of test for diagnosis. Like any other I wondered if all was necessary. I tearfully didn't care. Within hours swelling in my dog's throat was down. Since that day it was almost welcoming and fun to go visit and get regular flea and tick. My cat Jebbs hates the place. Shots! I can't remember right now my vets name but she really was a sweet lady. Thank you. You guys are the reason I believe he is in such great health. RID: 67303

Click to report rating    6/17/17   5     5     5     5   Dr. Pacia is so wonderful she's cured my dog from having a Nasty infection. She's amazing in terms of fixing the problem the first time. I highly recommend her. I'm not going to anyone but her for my animals. The prices are reasonable and I'm very happy. RID: 63932
Click to report rating    11/17/16   1     5     5     1   At this moment I have found myself completely disgusted with the pricing menu. And further the receptionist needs some phone etiquette lessons. I am not a child ND IVE HAD NUMEROUS ANIMALS IN MY LIFETIME.with that said, I have never been charged 60.00 for a consult fee when my dog is already a patient of the clinic and all he needs is a bordetella shot that cost 24,95. Whats there to consult on a simple procedure that requires no more than 1 min. ...I have never been a client to a vet both in Canada and the USA and told I'm to be charged 60.00 for a 24.95 needle? pathetic & shame on you for financially manipulating regular patience. I can understand a slight adminminister fee but consultation? Please? Any faith I had in the clinic now made me feel its all about money! Told all Vets charge that by rude receptionist... Well no they dont on each visit unless it is of a serious nature. Theres nothing serious about a simple shot! I have requested a return call by the owner... wonder if uh? RID: 62028
Click to report rating    1/19/16   5     5     5     5   A great clinic. The staff is kind and empathetic. This is the first, and only, clinic that my border collie, Dougg, runs to, not from! Dr. Margaret is kind and understanding with both pets and owners. RID: 59539
Click to report rating    11/25/15   5     5     5     5   We love Humber Bay Veterinary Hospital! They take exceptional care of our puppy and they see her instantly when we need them urgently. They take the time to carefully discuss any issues that we have and we always feel we that we are getting the best possible care. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to you. Doctors and staff are wonderful.Treatment estimate is done before treatment, so we know in advance how much will cost. RID: 59079
11/11/15   1     1     1     1   My friend brought her dog to this clinic a few days ago cause he wasn't feeling well, going in circles, not eating and seemed like he was in a lot of pain. They did some urine, blood tests and an x-ray which costed a little over a $1000, then told her that he needs an urgent surgery for his back that may cost around $6000. They called a neurological clinic and made an appointment without getting her permission. She gets a call from this neurological clinic not knowing much about it and tells them she is going for a second opinion. She went to see a Vet near Barrie, this doctor again did urine and blood test, she told her all he has is a kidney infection and send them home with antibiotics. In a few hours he felt so much better, ate, walked normally and the whole thing costed $200. Not sure why at this clinic after so many tests they couldn't diagnose such simple kidney infection?? Made me wonder if they even care about the animal's well being or is it just about money???!!! RID: 58930

Click to report rating    2/27/15   1     4     2     1   They didn't take good care of my dog and charged me a arm and a leg for something he didn't even need , I feel ripped off and out of $1500 RID: 56061
Click to report rating    1/22/15   5     5     5     5   I would like to write few words to summarize my first visit to the Humber Bay Vet Hospital. After realizing that there is a new clinic for the four-leg members of our family in the area where we live and considering that our furry babies are not getting any younger, I decided to make a visit. The place is very clean and welcoming (shouldn't this always be the case, well, unfortunately, it is not).Although, the clinic is very modern and well equipped and offers wide variety of services, the prices are competitive. This time it was only me, but I am looking forward to bring my beloved pets.Isabelle, Beyond the Sea condominium RID: 55569

11/3/14   3     5     1     3   New clinic near my condo, so I decided to come in and buy some dog food as it's closer than my regular vet. The facility itself is very clean and beautiful. There was an older lady at reception who didn't speak English very well and seemed a little slow cashing me out. Something simple as buying a bag of food took almost 10 mins. I was patient as I wasn't in a rush at the time, but for someone who is looking to get in and out may find this very frustrating. Also, it smelled a lot like cigarette smoke inside the clinic so not sure if staff are smoking inside, which I hope not for the sake of the animals and staff. RID: 54428
