Dr. Alan Farber is the best Veterinarian in the area hands down!!! I have been going to him for over 20 years and he and his staff are like family. He treats all animals, not just cats. People travel many miles to see him. He is up to date on every single medical procedure and will not hesitate to refer to a specialist when needed. He does not have a big ego. He is compassionate. Some people think he is a little expensive but I've always believed you get what you pay for and I do not find him any more expensive than others I have gone to in an emergency but I have found them not to be "good enough" to be a regular family doctor to my family of pets. He has helped me through many crises in over the years. He has educated me and we have spoken about old or new procedures because I do a lot of research myself. If you sat in his waiting room, you would hear the same from all the parents of his patients. In my opinion, simply the best.
