i brought my dog in for minor surgical removal of a small tumor outside her rectum. the surgeon was ok, dr. martin, but she was unavailable for the post-op and for suture removal. this is where the problem began.another doctor, dr. stephens, came in to our room with two very young girls, both under age 18, shadowing the doctor, giggling to themselves. they lacked maturity and tact.they all took my dog to the other side of the room, closed the door, and then i heard all three of them laughing at my dog's suture area. i heard her directing the girls to remove the sutures for their practice. one of the girls returned, not the doctor, and my dog was bleeding from the rear, but the girl said it was normal.4 weeks later there was an infection in the area, also i had to remove 4 more sutures myself that had become compacted and infected. the bad experience was compounded with a visit to dr.douglass with my cat for shots. she was rude,hurried, and loudly spoke down to me.i will never go back.
