All they care about is the money and they like to announce how much is on your card to spend to the entire waiting room. Very unprofessional staff all around. This was a major case of neglect. Took my dog there for high blood levels. He was admitted and we were told his levels were down and he could come home. When we picked him up he came out with high blood pressure, had a ripped off bloody broken nail, his backside was so raw and red from NOT being cleaned and we were never told about any of this until we picked him up. He was never catheterized for aggressive treatment that was discussed with the initial doctor we saw. We requested an ultrasound that was never done. The doctors wanted to put him down before even examining him properly. The dog we dropped off was not the dog we picked up. We regret leaving him there and we know now there are tests that they should’ve done that they didn’t. Brought him back because he got worse, next thing we know, his lungs were filled with fluid a

I woke up one morning and I noticed my Shih Tzu had a bulging enlarged eye. I immediately took him to my vet I was told possibly glaucoma and I left with eye drops. Rudy returned in a week a different vet saw him thought it was a eye infection and send him home with drops for glaucoma and eye infection. Rudy was scheduled to return in a week but after two days his eye seemed worse so we went back, now he is seen by a third vet who said his pressure was high so she recommend Dr. Wotman an eye specialist. Rudy had a detached lens and I was fearful he would lose his eye or go blind. Dr. Wotman was quick and through in her diagnosis and she was able to have the lens reattach using medicated drops. Dr. Wotman moved to another state and Dr. Bowersox took over Rudy's case. I can't thank Dr Wotman and Dr. Bowersox enough for the care they give my Rudy. Rudy is not completely out of the woods but I am confident that he is gettin the best possible care at Veterinary Specially Center of Delaware
