We are so happy with Dr. Sutton and the technicians at Rossland as well as all of the staff. The ladies that answer phones and book appointments are fabulous and friendly and professional. We drive 45 mins each way to take our pets to Dr. Sutton and she is so knowledgeable and kind, you can tell she loves animals. She has really taken good care of our pets.

This clinic is FANTASTIC! The staff truly cares about all animals the number of times I see them helping animals in need with no reward is heart warming. I see some reviews here saying that they don't care well I say they are 120% not true. Dr. Brown and her staff are the kindest souls that ALWAYS put the animals safety first. And I am extremely grateful to have them to take care of my fur babies.

We are out of touch with costs associated with owning a pet so I can’t really comment on the monetary value. However, we have found the vets and staff to be very caring and genuinely concerned for our dog’s wellbeing and our comfort with treatment plans and costs. They are very understanding when we have expressed our financial restrictions and given us affordability options. They are very professional and the vets take their time with us with our appointments. Louie loves all the staff (unless he’s getting a shot then he needs more treats and they happily oblige).

We are entirely grateful for the care provided by Dr Rowland and Dr Brown in our kitties' lives. We love this clinic for its low-pressure environment. The vets give you their diagnosis, along with numerous options to address the animal's needs. You're given time to think about the approach that works best for your beloved pet, you, and your budget. We particularly liked their approach to dealing with a pet that had multiple issues to address. The problems were triaged so we tackled the most serious item first, let our cat recover, and then moved on to less urgent issues. We've had other vets insist on ordering up a smorgasbord of lab work, scans, procedures, etc to try to tackle everything at once, which can be unnecessarily stressful on our pets. The follow-up calls (lab results, etc) were very detailed - we appreciated that. The staff members are super courteous and organized, and obvious animal lovers.

We have been coming to Dr. Brown for about 5 years. She cares for our dog and 2 cats. She provides excellent, pragmatic care. We especially value her willingness to come to our home as we have two challenging animals. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Brown's clinic.

Dr. Kristen Brown and her staff are excellent. She takes the time, without rushing, to explain everything that needs to be done as well as options available. Both my dog and I are very comfortable there and feel we are in good hands. I am so happy I take my dog to this clinic. I wouldn't change for anything!

We are very happy with the care Dr. Brown and her team have provided our Boston Terrier Lucy. She is honest and straight forward and does not push or suggest extra's she feels are not required. Her love of animals is very apparent, Lucy is never anxious or nervous when she sees Dr Brown. I would highly recommend her and her team to anyone looking for quality care. THE BEST!!

Dr. Brown was recommended to us from word of mouth, and she has never failed us. She saved our dog's life and also helped her live for 3 additional years after, and we will always be grateful for that. Rossland Animal Clinic is where we will always bring our pets and we feel fortunate to be able to rely on them for the best care of our animals.

Never in my 30+ years of pet ownership have I felt our pets have been better cared for and treated as if they were part of Dr Brown's own family, as we do with her practice. Service above and beyond, including a near midnight house call to euthanize our suffering fur baby next to her favorite spot beside the fireplace at home. When the need for specialized treatment has presented itself, Dr Brown, despite the ability to perform surgery herself- presented us with, AND encouraged options including Specialist referrals. There are no stones left unturned win this DVM. She is educated, experienced, and knows her resources when seeking colleague input, in order to provide her clients with the best possible outcome. There are no surprises, unexplained, or uninformed treatments or costs with her. Looey, Molly, and the rest of our family are truly thankful for you and your team's presence with us.

Came to this clinic for the good reviews I saw. Also I prefer female vets since I find they are more compassionate. and so I went in to take my dog to get dental cleaning! They offered free dental exam and gave free dental dog food! I was also shocked the price of the dental cleaning was so low other clinics charge so much.I will definitely come here from now on!

We Just started taking our dog to Dr. Brown late last year after having so much difficulty finding a good honest vet. Dr. Brown is probably one of the most caring and sweetest vets I have ever used and will be taking all my animals there from now on. We use to travel to Scarborough because we couldn't afford the vets in Durham but her prices are very affordable and to have a vet that honestly puts your animals interest first and it clearly shows it so nice. She doesn't kill your wallet and doesn't push every test and needle on you. Every staff member I have come across is so happy and friendly. I have recommended her to several of my friends. I also love how she works along with rescues, shows her real love for animals.

Dr. Kristen Brown has been our vet for several years. When our dear old dog had something wrong with his foot, it was diagnosed and treated several times by another vet as an infection. When the condition did not improve, I asked Dr. Brown for a consultation. She immediately identified the problem as cancer and removed the affected toe. The pathology report from an independent laboratory confirmed that it was indeed cancer and called him a "miracle dog" because the cancer had not spread. Dr. Brown's excellent diagnostic and surgical skills saved his life. We had him for another four years- until he was seventeen. When the time came for him to be put to sleep, she did it with gentleness and compassion. I would also like to note that, having recommended Dr. Brown to many of my friends, it has been our collective experience that she I is all about the welfare of the animal and not the money. Dr. Brown is an excellent and honest veterinarian, and I highly recommend her.

Our family feels so fortunate to know Dr. Brown. She has cared for 5 of our animals, and continues to, including some very sad times. Dr. Brown has so much compassion, and is so genuine. She works really hard, and still takes the time to thoroughly explain what she's doing, all treatment options and what she advises. She is our forever vet.
