The client service that I have experienced over the last week has been an absolute nightmare. While waiting to find out a diagnosis on whether my German Shepherd dog has cancer, I could not get anyone to return a phone call for three days. As would be expected, I was a nervous wreck waiting to find out the diagnosis. I was patient at first, but started to lose my patience after the fourth phone message. At best the front desk employees are incompetent and not giving the phone messages to the staff and veterinarians. At worst, the doctors and techs don't really care about their patients and the fact that, while we may be a number to them, our pets are very important to us if we are willing to pay their high fees to be treated.
Take my advice - if you need an internal medicine specialist in the Tampa Bay area, go to Blue Pearl. They at least seem to care about their clients.

After countless trips to ER (this one included) and our Vet, our dog was finally diagnosed with chronic Pancreatitus and given a prescription dog food. We couldn't find it on the shelf anywhere. The manufacturer gave us a list of providers in Tampa Bay that carry what we needed, which included this clinic. This clinic was the ONLY listed provided that stocked what we needed. Our girl hadn't eaten in two days and all other foods make her violently ill. They would not fill her prescription unless we took her there for ANOTHER $125 visit, and also that Dr is out of the office for a week, so we would just have to wait. When I explained that over the counter food was killing our daughter, that was of no concern to them. SO YOU SEE PET OWNERS - THEY'RE IN IT FOR THE MONEY - NOT TO MAKE SURE YOUR PET SURVIVES OR IS HEALTHY. GO SOMEWHERE THAT CARES, CUZ THEY SURE DON'T HERE.
