Very caring staff. Pauline is always polite and answers all of my questions. Both of my puppies are always taken good care of. Dr. Patel never pushes for unnecessary tests. Prices are fair compared to most of the vet clinics in Calgary. Highly recommend this vet.

Firstly, best prices of any animal clinic I have been to before. Secondly Pauline was very helpful and same goes to Dr. Patel. I highly recommend the clinic to everyone!

Great animal clinic to go to, it was very affordable and really clean. I had a really good experience here with Dr. Patel, he is very knowledgeable and professional. The staff was also very friendly. I would 100% recommend going here!

Super customer services and amazing and very compassionate vet. I was worried about finding good care for my two cat. After extensive research, I decided to give Prairie Winds Animal Clinic a try and was more pleased than any vet I've had before. My baby received outstanding care. Thanks for keeping the rates at a reasonable and affordable price. I would always bring my pets here. Dr. Patel loves animals.

Excellent vet and sweet receptionist Jane. have been to so many vets after moving to Calgary finally found a place I will stick to.The Vet (Dr Patel) is very kind, very caring and has best prices in the town. My previous vet gave me a quote of $1500- $2500 for cleaning the teeth and to pull some of them. I paid only 1/4th here and my baby started eating very next day. I strongly recommend this vet.

I went to this clinic a couple months ago, it was my first time. I wasn't impressed as the vet was running late. I was told he was free and could take me 30 mins earlier than expected, so I go over early and he was busy. So, I didn't get in any earlier than what my previous appointment time had been.
Once the vet saw me, he wasn't that talkative. I was quite upset because my cat was in bad shape and it was mostly me asking questions trying to get his thoughts without doing any tests just a basic exam. I had wanted some reassurance...
The end decision was my cat ended up being euthanized. It would have been nice if the vet seemed sympathetic or even apologized for my loss. He did the whole procedure without talking to me at all and left the room immediately and just seemed cold.
Also during my appointment the vet left a couple times to see other clients and made me wait longer which annoyed me as I should have had all his attention.

Worst vet ever! I brought two dogs to this clinic, and had very bad experiences with both dogs. The first dog was a fearful 6 pound dog. He couldn't handle her and had to have his receptionist come in and put a muzzle on her before he could look at her. The second dog I brought in with a bad cough, he told me that the dog had a collapsed larynx, and would die from the condition. I suggested that maybe it was kennel cough, since this dog was just adopted from a shelter (which he knew). His answer was "I guess it could be, since the symptoms are the same". I suggested we try medication for kennel cough first, which cleared the cough right up. Since when does a vet diagnose a death sentence before trying the most obvious and easy solution first!??? The receptionist was lovely, but I don't know how this guy got a license to practice. I will never go to this vet again!!!
