Click to report rating    6/9/21   5     5     5     4   My cat had a medical crisis at 2am. I called them and they were attentive and empathetic. We rushed over and they came immediately to get him. It is expensive but it's an EMERGENCY vet. These people are at the clinic in the middle of the night and treatment, staff, rent, etc. all need to be paid. They gave very clear instructions and were open about what treatment would be. They stabilized my cat so I could take him to his regular vet and even called to check up on his progress the next evening. He was in dire respiratory distress and without KRPH he would have died. Click to report rating    8/14/19   1     2     5     1   I understand that due to the emergency nature of the clinic that the prices are inflated - staff have to work overnight, etc. They euthanized our suffering dog and not even 5 mins after saying goodbye I had an invoice shoved in my face. My partner was outside crying and I had to take him inside to take care of finances. We were sobbing, trying to scramble to figure out how to pay for the high costs. We couldn’t afford her ashes. They were unsympathetic and cold. If you can go to another emergency clinic, do it. Luckily, there wasn’t a wait so our Sadie didn’t have to suffer for long. But their beside manner was atrocious. Do. Not. Go. Here. And no, we’re not projecting our grief on this clinic. They genuinely were exceptionally cold. RID: 68463
Click to report rating    7/3/18   4     4     1     1   My local vet charged $75 to euthanize my old sick cat. This place charged over $400 to euthanize my mother's cat. Saw the vet for less than 5 minutes after a long wait. Waiting I can tolerate. This kind of charge is unconscionable. Shame on you. RID: 66418
Click to report rating    6/29/16   1     3     1     1   I've had 2 experiences in 5 months here and I find that the staff on the first visit were extremely unsympathetic and immediately tried to talk my friend who's dog had been in a seizure for about 40 mins into euthanasia before offering Valium to bring him out of it. They also insisted on running my credit card before they would give it to him. The total visit was 1100 dollars for examination an two syringes of vallium. They were very cold. The dog is now fine. The second time my son in laws dog was hit by a car on a Sat. And as he was dying they again tried to talk us into euthanasia. By the time my son in law had paid them in full, his pet died alone in the room. Cost for that visit 700 dollars for exam and cremation. They were told if they came back with dog on Mon. It would be 400 dollars because it is a weekday. Really?!! Awesome place if you're rich or don't like your pet! Unfortunately it is the only emergency vet available. Use only as a Last resort! Click to report rating    5/23/15   1     1     1     1   Poor approach by staff... money is the key issue not the pet that you have taken in ... $1000 to euthanise an old cat... more and more horror stories while i was there. people forced to put animals down because of the fee of their care...Now that they have my contact info they will not stop calling to make appointments for my deceased cat. RID: 57118
Click to report rating    5/18/15   1     1     1     1   They should be ashamed of themselves. They took my best friends Shih Tzu away from them because they couldn't come up with $1600 for an eye surgery right that second. They are and emergency anaimal hospital. They deal with sudden emergencies and refuse to take payment plans. What percentage of the world can afford to spit out $1600 in an instant?!? That's ridiculous. Now they took her away to the humane society were they r thinking of putting her down! Terrible place I do not recommend it to anyone. RID: 57042
