To protect other animals and their owners from any grief, I strongly DO NOT recommend taking your beloved pet to West Edmonton Spay & Neuter/Animal Hospital, as it turned out to be an utter disappointment, and words cannot express how disgusted and discouraged we are with this clinic.We brought our dog to this clinic in August 2016 for a routine dental cleaning.Prior to leaving the clinic, my husband reiterated that if more than three teeth required extraction (which was the number of teeth we’d been advised previously in an assessment); the vet must call to advise and to ask for authorization FIRST.The receptionist acknowledged this and said she would notify the vet.Later I received a call advising my boy was ready for pick-up.I asked how many teeth were extracted and the receptionist proceeded to tell me; EIGHT!!!I was appalled the vet had taken liberties with my boy and extracted extra teeth without my consent or notifying us first.
I caution that by signing a waiver or consent

One time brought the dog who was scratching herself and the doctor had no idea what is going on. Took the dog to different clinic(Parkwest Pet Clinic) and doctor right away identified and treated the dog.
Next visit waited 40 min in hot room and left because my dogs were overheated. After doctor called and asked to come back what we did. Instead of apology we were overcharged. When they opened the prices were reasonable but now the way above the industry average. It is some confusion with Spay and Neuter Clinic in 107 Ave where really good doctors and prices. Never going back to that clinic.
