This rating is for Lakeshore in Oak Creek, WI (not the Glendale location). They call themselves an "ER" vet facility, but they only had one ER vet on staff when we went there. It took 3 1/2 hours of waiting around just to get a blood and urine draw on our dog. Ridiculous! Their prices are beyond horrible. They wanted between $600-$800 dollars to do CPR on a 3# dog if she needed it. We had a 65# dog at the Milw. Emergency Center for Animals (MECA) approx. two weeks prior; he needed CPR, the cost was $211. Lakeshore wanted between $600-$700 to do an ultrasound on this same 3# dog. We transferred her over to MECA, and the ultrasound was performed for $289. I would NEVER recommend this facility to anyone, and I will NEVER go back there for emergency care for my animals. They need more than one ER vet there if they choose to call themselves an ER hospital!! Their prices are nothing more than robbery, preying on people's emotions. Shame on them!
