Staff diagnosed my sister's dog without actually touching her or pulling out a stethescope. About a week later her dog had to be euthanized (different veterinary service) an she has told them that. She has been receiving multiple email offers - even after unsubscribing and blocking. Money hungry, unethical veterinary service.

I give a Zero star to this place . Stay away from this greedy vet . They are scammers and charge you for services that is not needed . I compared prices in a different vet clinic . They wanted to charge double for x rays and blood testing . They are lie about things so be careful. Avoid this place at all costs .

Please do not take your pets here, this has to be the absolute worst animal hospital ever. The veterinarians here are the most greedy and lack compassion for animals. If there was a minus 5 rating It would be more accurate. They are complete scammers and blood testing machines are always broken. The blood work results are always inaccurate. You can’t trust these people at all. They don’t follow through with your pets needs or condition, once they get your money they don’t care.

You get what you pay for. You won’t speak to a doctor and if your vet goes there for vaccines they will not see a doctor (which is illegal). Good luck getting a call back and good luck ever speaking to a doctor. Your pet will be dying and bloodwork will show it and yet, your pet will probably die before you hear back from the receptionist (which is illegal). Save your pets and go elsewhere; it’s worth paying for a proper vet clinic.

DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMAL HERE. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE AT COMMUNICATING WITH YOU. Our cat was walking at home fine, she went in because we noticed a change in her appetite. She was on IV fluids there for 4 days and came home worse than when we dropped her off. The poor thing had absolutely no strength to even hold her head up to eat. They said she had kidney disease never mentioned what stage she was at until the day after she came home and after 5 phone calls trying to contact someone in the facility. Turns out it was ‘early stages’ according to these idiots so WHY isn’t my cat eating? NEVER GOT AN ANSWER. I thought the point of being a vet was to help animals and try your best to find a solution. If you don’t care enough to help the animal and find the WHY then you probably shouldn’t be a vet. A grand later and they just pumped my poor cat full of drugs and sent her home to die. Disgusted with this facility.
The head Vet Tech is an absolute joke.

I am so incredibly grateful to this animal hospital for saving my cat’s life. After calling over a dozen veterinarians from Burlington to Niagara, I was told more or less the same thing that I would be looking at thousands for my blocked cat. I was going to book a euthanasia because I couldn’t afford to save my cat. This incredible clinic gave me options when no one else could! In fact there were several, and they didn’t even consider euthanasia for him. They were the only vets that didn’t make me feel terrible about a situation out of my control. Also he was saved for a fraction of the price I was quoted everywhere else. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for saving Speedy.

I knew there was something wrong with my dog because she had the shakes.
I took her in on a friday and they told me they would call back back that day. THEY DID NOT CALL. I figured it shouldn't be a big deal so I waited till Sunday and called back again. They said the results were there but have not been looked at, again they said they would call back later that day THEY DID NOT! We did not get ahold of them until 6 DAY LATER.
We made a a followup procedure to remove her Uterus that would stop her UTI - not until an entire whole week.
Fast forward I knew my dog was getting worse by the day. She was barely eating or pooping. Last straw she didnt come up stairs to bed, I came down in the morning where there was barf on the floor, she drank water but again puked another 2 times.
MY DOG HAS AN INFECTION AND WAS TAKEN TO THE EMERGENCY HOSPITAL!!!!
I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN!

I would not recommend this vet to anyone. My mothers dog was dying and they would not let her stay with her. The staff told her she needs to go home.So my mother with heavy heart had to leave. They put her dog back in the cold cage and she died shortly after alone and cold.There was not one reason they could give as to why my mother could not stay with her doggie in her last moments. This vet is just about money

My cat was dropped here by Hamilton animal services. He is chipped. East mountain did not even try to contact me to let me know my cat was in their care. It took 48 hours for me to be contacted by the city. East mountain was unwilling to discuss this situation with me or return my call and referred instead me to animal services despite the fact that I had questions concerning the care they gave him. The city were unable to provide me with any information on my cats condition while in the care of east mountain. Stay away from these uncaring money grubbers

In my opinion our dog was left to suffer far too long. Instead of looking over the exrays and being truthful with telling us it looks like he euther has lung cancer ir lesions which is just as bad he was left to suffer. WHY? Why couldn't the technicians read his exrays....brcause thecmachines they sent them out to were down. Yet ANOTHER vet who the exrsys were firwarded to easily read the exrays. I sat abd watched my poor dog panting sooo heavily because he obviously couldn't get enough breath into him. I have NEVER been more terrified in my life! I love the fact that they were open 24/7....also ghe staff were always super friendly ftom what I noticed. The office was always clean and pleasant lookinh, but fact remains this situation WAS NOT handled correctly. The sraff even apologized. It's not their fault my furbaby was sick, but it is their fsukt he was left to suffer extra long!

They were very compassionate and caring in what was a very sad time in my life. The care they took for my dog Ozzy was like he was a part of their family too.And cost was very reasonable. I ONLY WAITED about 5 minutes to get in and that was as a walk-in. Facilities were very clean and they had everything needed to do their job efficiently.please go their if your pet is in need their great people!

the admin staff was friendly but did not follow through. Very chaotic. My animals were there for an emergency taken in by Animal control (not my choice)and they did not do the proper checks to test the health of my animals (full blood test and uninalysis) They are more then twice the price of my normal vet (quoted $240 for something my vet did for $130) and when asked to transfer the records to my regular vet they did not until my vet had to call and request the records themselves. Some issues were caued by animal control not giving our information to the vet - which is why they got more than just a one. Asked them to properly transfer the records into our names correctly and did not do till the vet called to request our records - good thing we knew the INCORRECT information they had. one of our animals also lost an unhealthy amount of weight while there and some of her health issues were not addressed or even mentioned by the vet

I am surprised at reading these complaints. I do find it depends on a large extent which doctor you have at the clinic. One did try to talk me into more than I needed: I knew an antioxidant injection would probably suffice and it did rather than expensive blood tests. However they have been very good with my pets and cared for my very tiny rescue til she's now 13 lbs. n

I had to file a report with the CVO against the vet Ashok Dua here for telling me that you have to hurt your dog so they think that you're in charge and then proceeded to hurt my 9 week puppy without my permission. He then told me that positive training does not work and that the only thing dogs understand is being hurt. After reporting him to the CVO, he told the CVO that he only advises people on positive methods and linked articles about "positive dog training". The lowest dirtbag on the planet, he can't even tell the CVO what he tells his clients.

We had an extremely positive experience. Our 12yr old Tabby was very ill for a few days and his health was deteriorating. Today, 4 days since Sparky was treated, he is almost at 100%. The staff were fantastic. My Mother has also had positive experiences bringing her dog in for check-ups and treating her previous dog for cancer. I give 5 stars!

Would never go back to this Vet! The stress that was caused to our cat at this clinic was unbelievable! The vet put a leather muzzle over his face and eyes. Our cat was screeching! I had to leave the room! He misdiagnosed our cat and gave him the wrong medication! He could have died! The staff are rude as well! NEVER NEVER AGAIN!

I took my almost 5 year old purebred German Shepherd to this vet as he had a fistula. my first visit i told them to do whatever it took to take care of it even though I am on disability. they gave him antibiotics, and spray. The antibiotics did nothing..he actually got worse and 2 weeks later we returned and was told (without an examination) that he needed to be hospitalized to he was there for 11 days. they then told me he had to have surgery. It was over the labour day weekend and my brother had told me that he would help me with the bill but was on vacation and i was not able to reach him...they gave me 1 extra day to come up with 2204 (i had already paid 800)as well i have insurance, but the vet filled out the paperwork wrong so the insurance wont process the claim until its completed properly.the owner refused to fix the paperwork. they involved the spca and i had to make the decision to euthanize. i never got his ashes or paw print which is included in my bill.i will be suing

The owner of this clinic has had several CVO complaints go in against him. He had someone working for him who recently plead guilty to several charges in court the other day. Hes very insensitive and tells lies. I used to work for him. Run the other way. He also did not wear gloves during surgery as I witnessed with my own eyes several times. This is why pets routinely get infections when they have had surgery there. He also owns a clinic in Niagara Falls as well. He treats his staff like crap to

This vet clinic is terrible. They put my cats microchip in incorrectly and it caused her to get an infection. The staff are very rude and were not willing to tell me the names of the vet and vet tech that took care of my cat. Very disappointed with the clinic and staff
