I took my family member to Guelph she had a low grade cancer but didn't do any target therapy before open her up The surgery was botched got pictures.i caught them misrepresenting their medical notes Can't wait to take them to court.my girl was the centre of my world . I don't want to give them a heads up on what I know. It so much worse than anything that's been rated. When I wanted answers they sent me a letter saying that none of my animals will every get care in EMG or any of the facilities.they stopped treatment for my cat who was also being treated for cancer there. They know the law sees them as property I am going to change that.i am so deeply missing her . They get government grants funded by you the tax payer I am on it .0

My dog was diagnosed with grade 3 sarcoma by a Scarborough specialist before going to Guelph for possible palliative radiation. First specialist made an apt for 18 days after the diagnosis. That was way too late for helping a terminal dog, so I called and managed to get apt bumped up by a week. When later asked why the delay, seems the Guelph vet was not aware of the urgency. I rushed to get there for 9am, and ended up waiting for about 40min before seeing a vet. So it seems my dog has a difficult case, aggressive, incurable and impossible to surgically remove all the tumor. After a lot of conversation, I did not have confidence that anyone there knew what they were doing (for my dog's case anyway). Too late to do treatment in my opinion. They bruised my dogs leg where the catheter was, took 3 days for the swelling to go down. If I ever seek cancer treatment for another dog, I would look at going to a non-teaching cancer specialty vet, maybe in the US, before heading to Guelph.
