I can’t say enough great things about the Doctors at St. Mary’s animal hospital. I went there with my sick kitty because they were much more affordable than my regular clinic. They were very thorough and answered all my questions with compassion. I never felt like I was asking a dumb question or that I couldn’t ask questions. I am so Very thankful that a friend recommended them and I will recommend them to anyone who needs the best care for their furry friend! Thank you so much!

We were so touched by the kindness and compassion at Saint Mary's. They truly care and take the time to talk with you to really make sure your pet gets the best care possible. We just had to put our 15 year old cat, Webster, down. Such a hard thing to do, but it made it a little easier because of their kind and understanding ways. In time, we will likely get another cat, the house is so empty now. And for sure, we will be taking our cat to Saint Mary. They are the most caring vets I have ever come across. Kindness at such a dark time means so much. Would recommend them to anyone and their prices are very reasonable.

John and Rita are very kind individuals who take great care of the animals brought in. I have been going there for 6 years and they have helped me through losses as well as general care and dentistry work on my boys. I wouldn't go anywhere else. It's always fun to visit with Rosie and Lily, too.

Words cannot say how grateful our family is. We brought our dog in for emergency treatment, he had gotten into a neighbors compost pile and became very ill, very fast. The doctor was able to help us, explaining everything he as he went, the what and why we doing things. He made sure to let us know what progress, or otherwise, to expect as we went along.
He was dedicated, we were there until 11 pm. I have to mention Rose and Lily (their dogs) who were able to provide stress relief to us and reason for our dog to sit up and take notice when the last thing he wanted to do was get up and move around - something he needed to do to help with his recovery. Thank you Saint Mary Animal Hospital for saving a valuable member of our family's life.

John and Rita are warm, caring vets who always make time for you. Their hours are great and their prices affordable. I wouldn’t take my 3 dogs and 2 cats anywhere else, they really treat you like family - I highly recommend them.

An excellent vet. Both vets are caring and informative. They have looked after both cats and dogs for us. Our English bulldog and our lab. They always explain options and care and saved our bulldogs life when she was younger and had acute breathing issues. She lived to be an old gal. Excellent and skilled vets.

We have a bull dog and a cotton. We started taking our bully to Dr.s John and Rita when she was 4 years old with repeat uti and skin issues. They have always treated our pets very well and always offer sensible solutions. They take the time to explain the problem and the best solutions. Follow up care is excellent. We will always trust them with our family! Very good people and genuinely care for animals. I greatly appreciate the after hours service, as well. Thank you both so much for your service to our family, it gives us great peace of mind.

I have been taking my animals to John and Rita for approximately 4 years now. I own 3 dogs, 2 of them being Yorkies, one of these Yorkies has had some severe issues where I truly beleive John and Rita have saved his life. I trust them TOTALLY and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a Veternarian for their furry family members...

I have 4 dogs and have been to several vets within Halifax before finding St. Mary's in Windsor and I must say they are amazing. They are kind and genuinely care. Their prices are very fair. I would recommend to anyone, and I do! Would travel hours to keep them as my vet.

I have taken my pets here on several occasions and I would recommend Mary and John to anyone I know. They are very professional, helpful and kind people. I have had dentistry for my cat, they helped me through when I had to have my dog put down due to age and health, and I've had both a dog and cat neutered there. I've never been dissatisfied with my service and they are very reasonably priced. I moved 35 min away and I still make the trip to them.

Brought our very sick dog here, as he vomited blood all over exam room, the male vet said " there are paper towels on the counter kindly use them to clean that up" then as we sat in the lobby freaking out about our sick dog, the male vet comes out of other exam room carrying a dead dog in a garbage bag right in front of us! We were rushed through the limited treatment they provided, paid for a full blood work up and were told they ran the full work up only to find out that they only ran basic blood work and told us our dog had a serious disease, which they had done no testing to even indicate this disease. After we were sent home with a still very sick dog, we called as his situation worsened, and were given no reassurance or advice or help, completely unprofessional and scary! Unfortunate as the women vet is actually very nice, but the man is rude and unprofessional, I wouldn't take even roadkill to this vet!
