Been taking my dog there for 8 years now. They do not gouge or suggest unnecessary procedures. Dr. Dutnall seemed to genuinely care about his wellbeing, and offered quite a bit of valuable advice.

Wow, I can't believe the bad reviews. I have seen Drs. Hamilton and Dutnall, (as well as locums) and I have never had bad service. Dr. Dutnall did major surgery on my cat's dislocated hip which undoubtedly saved me from having to have him put down, and did it at a fraction of the price of a city vet. He now round without even the slightest limp. She always treated me with the utmost kindness, respect and professionalism. She wasn't afraid to express strong views, but was it was always fair and in the interest of the pets. It absolutely broke my heart to hear she left, and I wish her all the good I possibly can. They don't mind when I pop in with weird questions, or to have them take a look at a lump or bump. The prices are WAAAY better than a city vet, and even many country vets. The staff have always been super friendly and helpful to me. I am very sad to hear others were so disappointed, because I, personally, would recommend them most highly.

My experience at UCVS was a pleasant one. There Doctors care very much about the well being of their patients and is apparent in the way they are handled and their medical abilities. Dr. Dutnall and Dr. Armstrong take such pride in their jobs and their staff. The veterinary assistants and Veterinary Technicians work as a team in preforming their duties. I will always recommend this clinic to my fellow animal lovers.

Assistants are hired as technicians. Which means that your pet is NOT getting proper care especially when surgery is needed! The owners are more focused on making money than on the treatment of animals. Which shows in the care, or lack thereof, that they take when hiring proper staff, training and keeping staff. Which you can view on their website. Has your pet or a friends pet died during surgery here??
