Took my pet here. They wanted $400. - $500. to tell me what I already knew. My beloved pet was dying. To diagnose what was actually wrong, the Doctor had to run a number of tests. I was offered a low and high payment plan...credit cards were accepted. Since I did not have those kinds of funds available, my only option was to go home and think about it. If my circumstances changed, I could come back. Nothing changed.
It has been agonizing watching my pet suffer, become thinner, too weak to walk and unresponsive.
I get the $$$ part, everyone has to pay their bills. However, you will never convince me that this was not a set up to get as much $$$ out of me as possible. How is that humane for either the pet owner or animal. We are devastated. Yesterday I found a very gentle caring Doctor who put my pet to sleep. Without knowing any of the details, he told me that my pet should have been put down when I first contacted the Vet weeks ago. Very sad situation.
