Dr. McQueen was our vet most of the time and I miss her, and we moved. We brought our Maine Coons to this hospital. One of our Maine Coons had to have an emergency surgery needed asap, they saved his life! I would recommend Snelgrove Hospital. My cats were named Samson and Zeus, maybe after they read this, they will remember us. They both pass away in 2015 within 6 months apart and was very heartbreaking, BUT we finally got two more yayyyyy in 2017. Our new vet is Dr. Heaton at Three Island Vet Hospital, in Bobcaygeon.

Sick cat, they wouldnt see him and let me pay in 2 days....I have taken my dog there before and they missed the fact that his intestines were all in the wrong places and he was about to die... ended up at guelph university. Not Good!

Great clinic, willing to go the extra mile. I came in on an emergency basis and they not only squeezed me in when they were obviously busy, but they stayed open after closing just to see me. Couldn't ask for better care than that!

We have been taking our pets to snelgrove for over 20 years. Will never go anywhere else. Great staff and very caring people. Keep up the great work.

I have been bringing my animals here for 4 years now and I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. The staff are an amazing group of caring people and it is obvious that they love what they do!

My pets have been going here for all their health care for about12 years. Most of the staff is excellent but of course a few are exceptional. I would be happy for my pet to see any 3 of the 4 vets working there. Sorry to say there is one I would prefer not to have care for my pet. I love Dr. McQueen, she is the best! Always greets you with a smile and is such a kind, caring vet that always provides the best care. She is experienced with a world of knowledge. A couple of the other staff were especially kind and caring to me during and after the loss of one of my beloved pets: Kristy, Stephanie and Pattie. Value for dollar....the fact is that vet care is expensive. Could I go some where else and save a few dollars? Yes, I probably could but as long as my pets are getting exceptional care, I would never go any where else. It means something to me that my pets go to a great vet that gives great care and a place that has known my pets all their life. That is more important than saving $100!

There is no one better than Dr. McQueen - have been using her for many years and would never ever change - staff are great. This is more than another vet clinic - it is a compassionate, caring part of our multi-pet family. Thanks Suzanne!

Recently I took my 11 month old cat into this office to get checked out for a blockage. After ultrasounds I was told that the cat would need surgery and it might cost $1000-$1500 for surgery. Well beyond our resources and I made that clear all along we were watching cost. Asked what my other options are and was told I could euthanize him. No middle ground. Was asked to surrender him so they could do the surgery so someone else could ADOPT him. Why not reduce prices for surgery instead of having me surrender my cat to you so you can do the surgery anyways? "Out of the goodness of your heart?" Who ultimately benefits now? I presume my cat's life was saved but it doesn't make much sense to do this surgery, in effect, for free for YOUR benefit instead of negotiating a price we could afford.

I love this clinic. They are so compassionate. They have been with me from the happiest day I brought my kitten in to the saddest day when I had to say goodbye. They were with me all the way. Like a second family. Reception was so supportive, I could never have done this on my own without them. Thanks Snelgrove and hope to see you again one day with a new bundle of joy.

I brought my cat here on recommendation as my regular vet is on maternity leave. I am so happy I went here! Everyone was friendly and Dr. Jessica was warm and knowledgeable. I felt like they really cared for me and my cat. The prices were great! They did not push unnecssary tests or medicines and I walked out paying far less then I expected! Thank you Snelgrove! I will definately be back and recommend to others.

I have been going there for years I find their great and show alot of compasion. They were great with my dog and help me through a very hard time with his cancer. Cannot beleive that his staff was anything other than friendly. I have and will continue to recommend them to anyone in need of a vet

We took our pet in for her yearly shots, after 8 x-rays, ultrasound, blood work and a $500 + bill, they still could not figure out what was wrong with our pet their diagnoses went from pneumonia to cancer of the lung to they weren't sure what was wrong. The staff are miserable and unfriendly. My new vet is wonderful and just to let you know there is nothing wrong with our pets lungs?? go figure, money first pets last.

Support staff seemed cold not really interested. Veterinarian seemed good, health care seemed good. Needs updating.
