Click to report rating    7/30/22   2     2     1     1   Was told 3 hour wait and that turned into 6hr. They used the excuse that they were busy and that we were continually bumped for emerg cases. I say have a proper compliment of staff to handle your work load. Having animals and people wait that long is a crime. Best find somewhere if you can. RID: 70400
Click to report rating    8/16/21   1     3     1     1   Took my cat to their office. 4 hour wait in car - along with at least a dozen other people - on a hot summer night.Treated cat sent us home hours later only to return with same problem a few days later. Kind of like ground hog day. same experience 4 hour wait in car - dozens of others waiting. very bad communication. Cat treated and sent home again. Within hours cats issue returned. called first thing in the morning to speak with a vet - waited 8 hours no one returned my call. called again and again no one returned my call. so i went elsewhere. i would never recommend this clinic to anyone. i realize they are a 24 hour emergency clinic and people have emergencies. they do not share the same concern for the pets illness as owners. Very sad. i did hear when they opened they were amazing. Now if a vet cant find the time to return a call after dropping $600 at their clinic then they are a big F in my eyes. Not impressed at all. Click to report rating    6/23/21   1     1     1     1   Overall we had 3 horrible experiences with them. I don’t trust that they actually provide adequate care to their patients. I would never recommend and will never go back. They overcharge and they are lazy about the work they do. RID: 70012
Click to report rating    9/28/20   5     5     5     5   Amazing! All of the vets here are very nice and knowledgable. I am very satisfied with the treatment of my dog. RID: 69568
Click to report rating    8/31/20   1     1     1     1   To be clear: There are NO small animal specialists here, and I feel the call takers all have the same line: “Dr __ will SEE rabbits”, when you ask again if they are familiar or specialize in them, they repeat themselves. Right now, I understand COVID protocols are in place, however, all other vets have made practical, empathetic workarounds to a standard (“pre-pandemic”) vet visit. Shouldn’t sanitization regularly be of utmost importance ANY time? The call taker I spoke with was rude, short, snippy, and seemed like they didn’t wish to work at an emergency animal service. This business has never truly provided us with the correct care the number of times we’ve “panic gone” there. We’ve forever gone back to WinRose the moment they were next open and provided proper care. Understand that some pets NEED their owners there WITH them, due to anxiety, needing comfort and solace, and us owners can wear masks and gloves in these trying times. I find Bridgwater to be very quick on the draw when RID: 69502
Click to report rating    8/18/20   1     1     1     1   They are there for your money, not for your pet's health. Their fees are beyond excessive and that's for regular appointments and procedures. And they always tell you they "need" to do a full work up, most people feel trapped and pressured to do the right thing for their pets, so they hit you with $650 for cats blood work. Go somewhere where they actually care for your animal, not your money. RID: 69471
Click to report rating    3/13/20   1     1     1     1   Our first incident happened when our senior dog went in for a minor procedure and vet Dr. Tate failed to turn on the oxygen when our dog was put under, resulting in our dog not getting oxygen for several minutes, and her almost passing away. The next incident recently happened, Dr. Mina decided to shave our dogs neck, that was absolutely NOT related to why she was brought in, resulting in what they call a “hot spot” on her neck. Within an hour of her coming home, the spot on her neck became red and inflamed, we called the office and was told we would be charged again to be seen on the same day. Because our dogs neck neck was so inflamed, she had to go back several times to be seen, resulting in over $700 being spent on something that we didn’t ask to get looked at. After the last incident we were suppose to be in touch with the “Hospital Administrator” Crystal Miller who would “schedule” numerous phone meetings, for her not to call until the end of her shift one time in a four d RID: 69120
Click to report rating    3/4/20   1     1     1     1   Brought our senior dog there for excessive dry and flaking skin. The vet there had no idea what products I could use and was told to ask the front desk about the products they had. What an awful wait of $100! RID: 69097
Click to report rating    2/28/20   3     4     1     1   They are more about the money and not about the pet's health. I phoned with a concern about my pet and asked for advice and asking if I should do a certain thing. They said bring my pet in right away so I did and in the end they did just what I wanted to do at home. This is so wrong because if I had done it at home then it would have happened 30 minutes faster and would have much better for the pet since it was a time sensitive issue. Also when I got there we waited and took some time to give them basic information. They did not seem in such a rush to get my pet seen when we were there so why get me to rush my pet there? They were more concerned with making money! Do not go there unless totally necessary! RID: 69087
Click to report rating    1/29/20   3     4     1     1   Please, please don’t bring your pet here unless it’s a legit emergency that can not wait . Vets see dollar signs. If you work with animals, compassion needs to come first and your business will grow from that alone. Don’t let others profit from your sorrow. RID: 69012
Click to report rating    1/9/20   2     4     3     1   This place definitely takes advantage of you as you try to do the best for your pet. The young male vet who attended to my dog had very little interest in my dog and you could tell had no compassion for her. I absolutely understand the desire to make money however it really appears that this vet and staff team were solely about cash flow versus true care for animals. I appreciate the 24 hours and understand this will be needed at times and I will have to pay, but given a choice I would never return for true veterinary care as I prefer people who truly care about those they are serving!!! Click to report rating    12/12/19   4     5     4     1   The techs and some of the veterinarians are very passionate about their careers and it shows. However, this clinic is a turnstile business that is nothing short of a large money making "machine". The standard practice when you bring in an animal, is a vet will eventually make a cursory observation and come up with a number of possible ailments. Next, you wait for a tech to meet you in an office who will provide you with a litany of charges prior to anything being actually done. (A little shopping around and you will find considerably cheaper clinics for procedures such as blood tests etc... ) Next, and perhaps worst of all, is there are so many vets and "clients", communication from one day to the next is next to poor or nonexistent. Record keeping and file sharing from shift to shift is deplorable. Capitalism at its best here folks. Shop around. You'll save a fortune. RID: 68802
Click to report rating    8/5/19   1     1     1     1   I took my Sierra a 14.5-year-old darling cat to Bridgewater today. She has mouth cancer and had a horrible weekend. To spare her further pain and discomfort and after reading the reviews for this clinic, I called for an appointment to take her across the rainbow bridge. I had just lost her sister on May 16 so the pain is devastating. This is the hardest decision a pet lover can make. I arrived on time for my appointment, was led into a cold, sterile exam room as the comfort room was “taken”. Why they would have accepted my appointment is beyond me. They brought in a dirty blanket and laid it down. Then left telling me the vet would be in soon. About 10 minutes later a vet tech came in took some notes and said a vet would be with me shortly. and “let me know”. I was beyond tears by that point. NO ONE bothered to come back to at the very least give me some sense of when she would be seen. I have had cats for 40 years and have never been treated so badly or so RID: 68435
Click to report rating    5/1/19   5     5     5     5   Went there with a sick dog at 4 A.M. Was very happy that they are open 24 hrs and had good service. RID: 67964
6/30/18   2     3     1     2   Look to other reviews and you will find loads of misdirection and over charging. Low interest in the medical history vs high interest in repeat “exploration of well documented pet issues for profit”. Its clean, but the staff don’t really seem engaged or invested in the families or pets. Just enough to get you in and out, and that certainly isn’t done with respect for your time or wallet. I have had three poor visits, in an attempt to be fair, but the resounding message that really concerns me is the cursory approach to my pets care, how little the effort they put into the comfort of the experience and of the clientele. It’s obvious the culture is about the employees pay and the business’s profit gain rather than caring for pets. Last example, waited in a room for 2 hours to be told it’s closing time, but I could pay an additional fee to continue to wait for an undisclosed amount of time. They waited until all other vets were closed to extort this option, but knew in advance RID: 66405
Click to report rating    2/2/18   5     5     5     5   My dog had a disc problem & was paralyzed. The treatment he received was excellent - caring, compassionate, thorough exam, and explanation of treatment plan. The prescriptions helped his pain & kept him calm. They followed up and stayed in touch to check on him and follow up visits were good. Their rehab specialist Dr Ball, treated him with laser therapy and acupuncture. As a result of the wonderful care by the caring doctors here Brody is not only walking, but is playing and happy once again! Very kind and caring staff who are efficient and pleasant! Highly recommend this clinic and it’s staff! RID: 65520
Click to report rating    10/25/17   4     5     5     4   Have used this clinic on an emergency basis and on a routine basis for my cats. The clinic itself is very nice. The fact they are 24 hours is phenomenal as we now have another option for emergency care. The fees are lower than the other emergency clinic, but for routine medical things they are still on the higher end. My pets have seen Dr. Drain, Dr. Gould and another female doctor there (can't remember her name - was not the greatest with communication or listening but still treated my cat well). Dr. Gould showed the utmost empathy when my cat was blocked and I had very hard decisions to make and called the clinic incessantly (my cats fine now). RID: 64925
