I took my dog in due to irritated patches on his skin. The vet took a skin scraping to observe under a microscope. He then said that he couldn't tell what it was, but it looked circular, so it was probably ring worm. I knew it wasn't ring worm so I found a new vet and it turns out, my dog has developed a food allergy. Yesterday I took my dog back to get his nail removed due to a break. My vet didn't have time before closing, but did tell me that they would have charged me approx. $150. Bonnie Doon Vet Clinic was going to charge me $900.!!! Unreal! I will never go back!

I have to urge caution with this vet. He was very friendly, but Im not sure he is as knowledgeable as he could be. Took my cat there late at night, presenting signs of a urinary track infection, which he had before. He was quite rough with my cat. Then he said he had to do an X-ray first. I questioned this. He said it might not be a UTI and this would allow him to eliminate something else. I figured he knew what he was doing and said ok. The X-ray fine. Next he did a urinalysis and said although the red and white blood cell count was high, there were no crystals present, so it was not a UTI. Next he wanted to do a blood kidney test at $300. I declined. I took my cat to my own vet the next day. It took three requests to the Bonnie Doon clinic to send over the file. My vet took one look at the urinalysis and said it looked like a UTI! My cat went onto antibiotics and was fine within a few days. My cat went through a lot of fear and pain with unnecessary tests.

Dr.Siddique and his staff are compassionate and thorough. Both of our dogs got seriously sick at the same time with totally different illnesses. One had to have emergency surgery. Not only did the Dr. respond quickly but followed up with multiple calls to see how she was doing., and while she was in the clinic they sent pictures to assure us she was doing fine.Unfortunately we have just had to euthenize our little boy who had bone cancer.Dr Siddique and his assistant were both excellent in their care and support through this awful time.I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Siddique and his clinic and staff.

Brought our sick cat to the Bonnie Doon Vet clinic and the staff were thourough, caring and prompt in their diagnosis. While waiting for some lab results another couple came in with an elderly dog to be put down. We found the vet assistant very sympathetic and professional in helping them with this difficult task. We recommend Dr. S and staff 100%! Great hours, great staff and great results!

I took my dog to this vet and the vet was so focused on a stomach issue being the problem that he did not notice that it was a sore back. When I heard the yelp that came from my dog when they took an exray in the back room it broke my heart. Within an hour my dog could barely use his back legs as they made the problem much worse. Would never send anyone I know to this vet ever.
