Click to report rating    6/17/22   2     3     3     1   This clinic seems more interested in charging outrageous fees that in the health of my pet. A 5 minute follow-up eye check cost me $120.00, after already paying more than $200.00 for the initial exam and medications. RID: 70360
Click to report rating    10/9/18   1     3     3     1   BUYER BEWARE!!! My daughter called and got a quote and booked her young male cat at Pet Focus to be neutered and I dropped it off. When I dropped it off I was given a paper to sign to confirm the cost. I thought little of it, knowing that my daughter had called. BUT... as it turned out my daughter had received a quote of $85 but the final bill was over $300. For a male cat neutering. When we tried to discuss this with the counter person we were told that it's not possible anyone would give out the figure of $85. When I asked if they had any new staff she said "yes but we're with them all of the time". But my daughter DID call to get that quote - 3 people heard her - and she DID call that clinic, the number is recorded in her phone. Whatever their compassion for animals, they don't have the same for customers or customer service. I expected they would take little bit of responsibility for some confusion of which they were obviously part - or at least show some compassion. RID: 66886
Click to report rating    6/26/18   2     4     4     3   Can't say anything bad about the doctors but the receptionist here could definitely benefit from some customer care classes. We had a dog a long time ago and then it was adopted. So today I called to register my new cat and the receptionist kept asking me who adopted my dog and what their name was and when I told her my male friend's name, she said that was not the name on the file and was about to hung up on me, so I told her his girlfriend's name and then she agreed to register my cat. I do not see the relevance, honestly. If my friends change their name or if they move, do I have to still know everything about them? What's next? Is she going to ask their bra size? Very disappointed. RID: 66375
Click to report rating    9/20/17   2     4     3     1   Sadly, we switched to this clinic after Dr Woodbury retired. This review is for general veterinarian services NOT surgical service. Dr Rushton is phenomenal for surgeries and we have no complaints with his care and service. The vet techs are also great. However, the lack of personalized care for regular vet services is my complaint. One of our dogs was attacked by another dog and taken to the ER vet and this clinic never called to check in like our old one did. There is high turnover in vet staff it seems and each new person you see seems to want to order test after test rather than listening to your concerns and doing what is in the best care of the pets. I have to constantly check with vet friends about whether the testing is legit and often it is excessive, without any explanation for why it is needed. The facilities are great and Dr R is great but sadly we will not be returning to this clinic. It's time to move on! RID: 64680
